“All best from the Silken chain”

We were traveling on our honeymoon and stayed in Silken chain all over Spain. Well, I say it’s definitely one of the best hotel chains in Spain. The design of the hotel was awesome. The rooftop pool and bar had some amazing views of Barcelona (make sure to go on top and take pictures). Our room had very cool view as it overlooked Agbar tower. The hotel location was perfect – 2 minutes’ walk to metro, tram and shopping center. Also, it is very close to the city center and the beach (recommend taking a tram to the beach). The hotel was clean, trendy and the staff was very helpful (mostly everyone spoke English). Additionally, the rooms were bigger than other European hotels we stayed in. We had a great experience and will definitely come back.

“Fantastic Hotel”

This is a fantastic hotel. It is extremely clean and modern. We arrived much earlier than check in but they had a room ready for us. The hotel staff didn't smile much but if you had a question they were more than happy to assist. It is only 4 very short metro stops away from La Rambla (a must see area of Barcelona) making it very convenient location but at the same being located in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a big shopping centre across the street with several resturants and lots of shopping. I would definately stay here again.

“Good location away from it all”

The hotel was just as the pictures make it appear. The hotel is 1 block from a metro station. Very easy to get around Barcelona. Didn't need a car. Also across the street from a shopping center w/ Starbuck's, BK, McDonalds & Carrefore (like a Super Walmart w/ grocery store). The room was clean and the tv had lots of channels (CNN in English). Free use of the business center. Staff was very knowledgable about the area but the airline lost my luggage, and staff didn't offer any extras to help make my stay more comfortable. Enjoyed my 5-day stay here.

“Un hôtel à recommander à Barcelone”

L'hôtel est situé un peu à l'extérieur du centre-ville, mais dans un quartier plutôt calme, même si en travaux. On rejoint le centre en 10 minutes de métro, et la mer en 10 minutes de tram. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique et certaines personnes parlent le français. L'hôtel est en face d'un centre commercial, à 2 minutes d'un arrêt de tram et à 3 minutes d'un arrêt de métro. Nous n'avons pas consommer à l'hôtel, donc pas d'avis à ce sujet. La piscine sur le toit n'est pas très grande, mais suffisante pour se rafraichir en fin de journée. A recommander!!

“Wonderful Stay”

Stayed for three nights at Silken Diagonal as a birthday present for my wife. We absolutely loved the hotel. Contemporary design and decor, great bar and staff, spacious and comfortable room - all parts made our stay memorable. Location is really good, eventhough it's not right in the city centre. A big shopping centre adjacent to the hotel, makes it easy to get a quick bite at all hours of the day. Quick walk to the metro and you're connected with the whole city in an instant. If you like to walk, then Sagrada Familia is only 25mins away and Placa Catalunya 30-35mins though the wonderful El Born district. Would definitely stay again :)

“Hôtel génial, nous y retournerons!!!!!”

L'Hôtel est idéalement situé dans le quartier des affaires: à 200m du metro (très pratique, sur, pas cher et qui vous mène partout), le tram passe également en face de l'hôtel. La plage et la Sagrada Familia sont à 15min à pied. En face de l'hôtel se trouve l'un des plus grands centres commerciaux de Barcelone et le marché aux puces. Les photos de l'hôtel correspondent exactement a la réalité. La déco y est très design et le tout est tres bien entretenu. Les chambres sont très agréables et lumineuses (ecran plasma, bonne literie, jolie vue, spacieuse). La terrasse du Silken offre une superbe vue sur tout barcelone!!!! Bon séjour

“Tres bon hotel !!!”

un hotel de reve, tres tres beau, design, une chambre tres agreable, le personnel sympathique et toujours pret a rendre service, piscine lounge... le seul petit bémol pourrait etre les alentours de l'hotel (vue moyenne sur quelques maison abandonnées) mais cela est fortement compensé par le centre commercial en face de l'hotel, le tramway le bus et le metro a coté, de plus le quartier se developpe et sera d'ici quelques mois/années tout simplement parfait ! en bref n'hesitez pas, je n'ai rien regretté de ce voyage !!!
