“Fantastic hotel”
We were very pleased with Pulitzer- perhaps one of the best hotels we have ever stayed, considering how many boxes you can tick off. The location was perfect, staff were friendly, building was modern and cool, (loved the elevator!), bar/ lounge was airy and stylish, room was nice (though a bit small- wasn't a problem), and the price was reasonable. Cannot comment on breakfast, as we did not eat there, but there were many cafes around. We wanted to check-in on-line for our flight, and they let us use their (big) sister hotel's business centre (incl. printing out) free of charge. We thought that was a nice touch. If we are to go back to Barcelona, we'll definitely go to Pulitzer, and will recommend this place to any of our friends.
“Hip hotel in great location”
We had a great experience in the Hotel Pulitzer and thought the location was perfect. Upon arrival we were a bit disappointed with a room that overlooked a paved roof undergoing construction, but the front desk responded immediately to our request for a more charming view. The rooftop was an unexpected delight and the staff was very helpful with directions, reservations, cabs, etc.
“Mod-Style and Very Good Value for the Money”
Hotel Pulitzer was centrally located and stylishly decorated. The rooms were small but modern, clean and functional. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The lobby and bar area were a wonderful place to relax in a more intimate setting than exist in most larger hotels. I would stay here again if I was to return.
“Will definitely be back!”
Id read the reviews on here before we left land I can honestly say that I really enjoyed staying in this hotel - the staff were excellent and very helpful (nothing was too much trouble) the hotel was clean and trendy and in a great location, I will definitely go back and stay at the pulitzer!
“Very pleased”
We had a great stay at the Pulitzer. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested and got a room with a lovely little balcony, which I recommend. Pulitzer is also in an ideal location, it was so easy to get around from there.
“Great hotel, great location, jkust one disappointment”
The Pulitzer is a great hotel in a great location just of Ramblas. helpful and cheerful staff and well appointed. only downside in our room was a pillar in an odd place. It was a corner room that we could not change so no chance to see the others. Most likely OK!
“Quaint Little Hotel”
The room was small with a column in the middle of it, but there was room in the closet for the suitcases. There were not many drawers if you were going to stay several nights, but a roomy chest (also big enough for small suitcases. The bath was large, apparently recently redone. It had marble floors and sink. The odd thing was the lighting. One has to insert a card like the key card to operate the lights in the room. There are switches near the door and bed for all lights after you insert the key card. The bed was comfortable. We did not eat in the dining room, so cannot comment. However, we just mentioned it was our honeymoon and immediately received a complimentary bottle of champagne! What a nice surprise. The front desk had our taxi waiting at the appointed time and were very cordial and helpful throughout our stay.
“A Gem Of A Hotel - Superb Location!”
This smallish property is close to the center of everything in Barcelona, a short walk to the Metro, the bus line, Las Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia, and the many excellent restaurants. The location is superb! The front desk staff are professional yet not stuffy, and they are very helpful. The bar staff are friendly and make some fabulous drinks. The lounge is lovely and the rooftop bar amazingly beautiful on a summer or fall night. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet (enjoy the patio for breakfast!), and although we did not get to have dinner there, I hear they serve a great meal. Our room was quite spacious for European standards, and had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was large, well lit, well equipped. The bed was quite comfortable, and the linens met our expectations. The cleaning staff were magical in that they always seemed to know when we stepped out, and the room was always perfect on our return. Overall, the room was quite satisfactory for our 8 night stay. If you are a traveler who wants a mid price point hotel that is well maintained, wants good service from nice people, wishes to be close to the center of Barcelona....the Pulitzer is it. I highly recommend this hotel! We'll be back again next year.
“Excellent location and service”
The hotel is exceptionally well located within a short walking distance to the Barri Gotic, the Rambla, the Aerobus and Metro, the Turistic bus stop, and many good restaurants. Very clean and excellent breakfast buffet. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, although a bit small and without special view, but it was quiet for sleep.
“Very Convenient Location”
This hotel ticked all the boxes for location, cleanliness and even a good buffet breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful. Would definately stay here again
