All the staff was great, they had a friendly and polite attitude, willing to answer any question we had. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice. The locations was close to all shopping area.

A very central hotel with polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was as expected and a good size for a city break when time spent in the room is minimal. A slight minus was that some of the fixtures and fittings needed a little attention and the towels are not as soft as they could be.Having said that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was delicious and had many options, the garden area was lovely, and the rooms were nice. However, there was consistently half-eaten food left in the staircase that was not picked up for days (there was a plate of pizza that remained on one of the landings for at least three days). Overall, a lovely stay!

Barcelona getaway Dec 2023
It was a three-day getaway to Barcelona. Our first time visiting the area. And we were NOT disappointed. From the accommodation we received from the reception staff of PPBG, to the gastronomical journey we experienced on a daily basis as we walked the streets of Barcelona, our experience is one of the best we’ve had in recent memory. The staff allowed us to check-in to our room a good seven hours early to the advertised time which was really helpful to these tired travelers. They were very pleasant and helpful. It was a random pick for us and it was a huge surprise that the hotel is in the midst of Metro Barcelona. Everything was a short walk, or train ride. The rooms were sufficiently appointed. Some upgrades here and there may be undertaken but we have no complaints. We were happy travelers and nothing but the best for this hotel. Price was very reasonable for our stay as well. Will definitely consider returning here if given the chance. Highly recommend this to BCN visitors.

The location had to be our main LIKE about this property. Next would be the amazing buffet breakfast each morning with a huge variety of food and drinks. I have to eat gluten free and the service had gluten free bread and a muffin for me each morning. Everyone was helpful to get us a taxi, or tickets to a museum, or answer general questions. Good to have English speakers at the desk.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing especially the "lobby guys" who will do anything for you. Bar staff super friendly. The location can't be beat just steps from Las Ramblas, literally a one minute walk to the amazing La Bouqueria market with every delicious fresh food you can imagine. Lots of bars and little spots right under the hotel. Really enjoyable.

Manager was not helpful with booking question. Card key was inactivated two days in a row and had to go to front desk to activate it. The common toilet is dirty and runs out of toilet paper.

Property was shown as a 4 star on the site, but the poor condition of the facilities said 2 stars. Very disappointed. Heat in room was stuck on, I received an electric shock from coffee maker, the room was dirty room and forced me to switch. New room not much better with peeling paint, broken desk, chipped linoleum and damaged nightstands.

Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The first room there was a problem with the shower. They moved me into a suite that was huge and very nice. The grounds are beautiful. It's about a block off of La Ramblas. It's so easy to find restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again.

It's like a perfectly maintained castle. It"s huĝe green area, no noice, huge rooms, all it.s personnel from A to Z, its breakfast. In front of la Boquería at the. entrance of the Gothic neighborhood good internet and many more.

Beautiful property - but room not ready after paying for an extra night for early arrival. I had paid for 3 nights accommodation as we were flying overnight and knew we'd be arriving early in the morning...it's very frustrating to then be kept waiting for house keeping to complete the room - it was supposed to be empty and ready for us! Lovely staff, exceptional breakfast, great location - but not acceptable to take $270 for a night and then not have the room ready.

The room for four people was extremely small. Like there was a queen bed and two bunk beds but besides that nothing in the room. Even w Moving around the room was hard. Having said that location is excellent, staff was cooperative and most places were near.
