“Majestic lives up to name”

The hotel was very centrally placed being only a 7 minute walk from where the A1 Airport Bus stopped. Very polite and attentive staff. Room was immaculate, extremely comfortable and with excellent facitilites including shower jels, soap and shampoos. Was on the 4th floor and was very quiet considering the central location. Did not eat in hotel as thought it rather on the expensive side, but nearby were plenty of places to get breakfasts etc from. Did not use Spa facilities - again as rather expensive. Would definitely book this hotel again.

“great hotel, great location”

There is not much to say other than it has the comfort and service you expect in a five-star hotel that has one of the best locations in Barcelona. An easy walk to the Placa Catalyuna, the Ramblas and the old quarter. There is a nearby metro stop for trips farther afield and two Gaudi buildings are within a block. The rooms are suprisingly quiet, at least if you don't face the main street.

“Wonderful luxury hotel in great location!”

We had stayed at this hotel last August prior to a Med. cruise we were taking. It was the perfect location for our family - 2 adults and 2 teenagers 15,16 - and the perfect beginning of a memorable vacation! The location was within walking distance of all the main attractions but far enough from the noise of Las Ramblas. The rooftop pool was a huge plus. It has a great view and was the perfect way to relax before dinner after taking in all of the attractions during the day. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

“Wonderful stay! Perfect location!”

A very good hotel in an even better location. Very nice and clean hotel. Very close to everything. The only unpleasant thing is, if you would like to have a late sleep, it is kind of difficult since the Hotel is in the renovation process. After 9 am they start knocking... But this is nothing, comparing to the rest. The train from the Airport has a stop at Passeig de Gracia, which is only 1 bloc from the hotel. Very convenient.

“Great hotel in great location”

A first class hotel about 60yards from the Passeig De Gracia Metro and the rail link to the Airport. The roof terrace is a huge bonus with stunning views of the city. Dining in can be a bit expensive but there are plenty of coffee shops, tapas bars and restauants within 5 mins walk

“Great location - walk to all Gaudi sites.”

The Majestic is located on one of the main streets in Barcelona. This enabled us to explore the city primarily on foot, the best way to go. All of the major Gaudi sights with the exception of Park Guell are located within walking distance or a short cab ride, if you prefer. The hotel staff was very accomodating and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, some facing Passage de Gracia with wonderful views. Hotel also had an adequate gym for those who like to maintain their daily workouts. Would definitely return to Hotel Majestic if I return to Barcelona in the future.

“Excellent location”

If one is not interested in being surrounded by all-night college-aged partiers, but wants the convenience of being close to the Old Town and the Waterfront, then the location on Passeig de Gracia is perfect. Drolma is an outstanding restaurant. The hotel is very convenient to subway. Be aware, however, that the concierge service is lacking.

Tout était parfait hormis un désagrément au niveau d'un bruit de fond de ventilation et un chauffage déficient (un appareil d'appoint nous à été fourni,trés sympa.)

“Great hotel, best location in nicest part of town”

If you like great comfort at a luxury location, the Majestic is for you. The Majestic's combo of updated comfort and location cannot be beat (great shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood, plus I had a view of Casa Batllo from my window). The service was great as well (we had a problem with our luggage lock and someone came to help us about 2 minutes after we called the front desk). Had stayed in other luxury hotels in Barcelona before, but the Majestic will be my choice in the future.

“Luxury at a Good Price”

Loved the Majestic's lobby, and decor. Location was excellent. Good price on Expedia. Rooftop bar and patio area was smaller than expected but lovely. King bed was two twins together, which we liked, and beds were comfy. Good air conditioning. Would definitely go back.
