“Appartement MH Gaudi”

“Call before you go”

Overall was a pleasant stay.GOOD: apts are good size, new and modern (bathroom is small). We were family of 4 and were comfortable. was clean. Location was very close to Sagrada Familia -one of the attractions most people will visit. The BAD:Call before you go to set up your arrangements to pick up keys. I arrived at 9am on a Sun after traveling 18 hrs and it was raining and cold. The doors are locked. After spending 6 dollars trying to get pay phone to work,I was able to get in touch with them only to find out that room would not be available until 2pm and they could not meet me earlier. Tired, wet and cold this not what you want to hear. I ended up hauling our luggage and went to internet cafe to kill the time.On the flip side, we had a late flight leaving so they held our luggage after check out and met us back at 6pm to get us our luggage. It is on a main street and our apt (main bedroom) faced the street so we could hear car/people noise. Most nights I was too exhausted but some nights it did bother my wife. The hot water tank is limited. If you plan to shower 1 person after the other with hot water, you need to give tank time to reheat. It is a new construction so the entryway etc is still 1/2 done/painted. Also the "full" size bed in master bedroom is 2 twins beds pushed together. Overall I think it would be very good place for extended stays, particularly if more than 2 will occupy. I would try to request room on back end, away from street to avoid any noise issue.

“Modern & Convenient”

Apartment is clean, comfortable, roomy with a view of Sagrada Familia church. A nice little grocery store across the street, good prices & fab.full service kitchen. Call ahead & confirm address of apartment & time you can pick up your keys. There is no hotel service, no reception. Otherwise you will be stranded on the street for a few hours as we were. You may also by mistake go to the wrong gaudi apartment location, we did. Once you arrive and settle in, you will love this place. Great value for groups of 4 or more.

“Comfortable Stay”

Barcelona is not a cheap city but this option was good value for money and gave us more freedom than a hotel. The apartment is not spacious but roomy enough for a family of four with two teenage girls. Everything is provided apart from toiletries and coffee filter papers. The location is great, a few minutes away from the Sagrada Familia and the metro. Tips: take a few DVDs and some spare toilet roll: we got two for three nights. If your flight is later in the day you can call the office to arrange to leave your bags. Make sure you've got the exact address for the taxi driver. Note that the Sagrada Familia is being renovated inside as well as outside. We queued for a good hour, paid 44 euros to get in and saw a nice interior construction site.

“A bit out of the way for a family if you plan on walking”

Overall the apts was good. A nice size for a family of four but It was too far away from the main tourist attractions other than Sangrada Familia. Walking took an hour to La Rambas. We started taking a taxi, but that got expensive. If you have a family with young children, I would recommend moving closer to the tourist areas. Warning, if you book cabs, they arrive early and run the meter. We ended up with some very expensive cab rides to local tourist spots.

“Alto gether not bad”

Clean and comfort, staffs are very help full (on the phone); very noisy in the night, sleeping is difficult in the road sight room. Traveling is easy by metro to any where in Barcelona. Supermarket next door, easy shopping, no one speak English in there.

“Make sure to have a key in order to get into the appartment”

Overall the appartment is very modern, and decent cleaness. It is also located very close to a subway station. Wireless does available--just ask for the password at the time when you pick up the keys.
