Property Amenities
Attracting guests, tourists and locals, the Husa Oriente's bar serves snacks and drinks inside or on the lively boulevard outside. A breakfast buffet with hot and cold items is available each day (surcharge) and can also be taken in guestrooms if ordered the night before. Built in 1842, Husa Oriente was renovated in early 2009.
Complimentary wireless (high-speed) Internet access is available in common areas and guestrooms. The single meeting room provides a central venue with audiovisual equipment and catering available.
Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can guard valuables in the safe-deposit box and organize dry cleaning. No smoking is allowed on the property.

The Husa Oriente, Barcelona, features 147 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over five floors accessible by elevator. All have polished wood floors and calming white or beige colour schemes with modern art brightening up the walls. Amenities include complimentary wireless (high speed) Internet access, high-definition television, direct-dial phones, nightly turndown service, and tiled bathrooms with either shower/tub combinations or shower stalls only. Views are either on to La Rambla or to the interior of the hotel.

Dining
Oriente Bar - Bar open from morning until evening serving drinks, snacks and full meals including sandwiches, pizza and paella. Tables also set outside beneath sun shades on pavement of La Rambla.
Recreation
The city's long stretch of man-made sandy beach begins approximately 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. The nearest metro stop is Barceloneta (yellow line 3); buses also run from La Rambla. Port Vell and the former Olympic Port (approximately three kilometres away) offer sailing and water sports.

“Would definitely go back!”
This hotel is located right on Las Ramblas. It is centrally located and within walking distance to great food, shopping, and the metro. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“This is a really good place to stay”
This hotel is in a great location and the service from the staff was great. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the rear of the hotel off Las Ramblas! It's easy to use this as a base for touring this great city and don't forget a visit to Camp Nou!
“Good Hotel Excellent Location”
The hotel is in an excellent location on Las Ramblas. My room faced the street and the evening noise wasn't a problem for me however if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room at the rear. The patio doors to the balcony did not close fully so the noise may have been louder because of this. Excellent Hotel, Excellent location.
“Would stay again”
Good value hotel in excellent position. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to people who like to be in a lively area. Would ask for a room at the side or back of the hotel if you want peace and quiet. Our room at the side of hotel was very peaceful. Rooms overlooking La Ramblas could be noisy but will have an excellent view of the nightlife!

“We would return”
After reading the reviews I wasn't so sure about this hotel, but everything I read was not true. or maybe they had made vast improvements rather quickly. Yes, the Las Ramblas is noisy, but the hotel is centrally located which makes it nice. The room was fine, big enough for a family. Wouuld return. Clean, hotel was clean. The front desk was friendly and willing to help with anything. Recommend very much.
“Fantastic hotel, excellent value for money and prime position”
Would throughly recommend the Oriente. Right in the centre of La Rambla, it catered very well for a family of 5 which consisted of 2 teenagers as well as a 5 year old. Very clean and the staff could not of done enough for us, very very helpful. If you are on a budget, this is excellent and very good value. I would stay there again.
“Great location and great price.”
I think I said it all in my travel expericence. It was a great pick for Bacelona, I couldn't have been more satisifed with everything. It is listed as a 3 star hotel but I would rate it higher! Next time I am in Barcelona I would stay there again!
“Great hotel on The Ramblas!”
If you are looking for a hotel on the Ramblas, you can't go wrong with this one. Great location, great staff, great room, and, oh yeah, great price! Make sure to ask for a room overlooking the Ramblas if possible!
“Great location”
Personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. Be extremely careful about thievery - my wife's purse was stolen by the Dunkin' Donuts employees just up the street from the hotel. Police were no help either.
