“Beautiful city and hotel”
Our family of 4 stayed in a family room July 30 through August 2nd and we were very comfortable. There were two double beds as well as a twin sized bed in a small alcove area. The bathroom was all marble and very large. We had a terrific breakfast each morning and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We were also very pleased with the location which was close to everything.
“Highly Recommended”
Smart hotel. Excellent location. Friendly reception. We had a nice large room for the three of us. Very nice breakfast. The room was a bit stuffy and the air-con didn't help - not a major issue as it was April and opening the window helped. A telephoned message left before our arrival was not passed to us.
“A Gem of A Hotel”
A Gem of a Hotel Excellent neighborhood, convenient to metro, the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Passeig de Gracia, etc. Wonderful staff, multilingual, free good-quality WiFi, umbrellas for take out, comfortable rooms ... a great hotel at a great price. We were delighted. I highly recommend the neighborhood -- it’s in the absolute center of the city (from a sightseeing standpoint). We walked everywhere -- to the Sagrada Familia, the Parc Guell, Casa Mia, Las Ramblas, the waterfront, the old town, etc. When we decided to to to Montserrat, the local metro station connected us directly with the train. A fantastic experience. I had mistyped my earlier ratings numbers -- mistaking 1 for top and 5 for bottom. Correct numbers are on this rating.
“Brilliant Choice!!!!”
Found this hotel on expedia, and checked it out on a few other sites also. I wanted a place that was central in Barcelona, but also to be in a good area. This hotel certainly delilvered! I did not have any complaints about this hotel, and can certainly say that the stay was worth every penny. It was close enough to a main square, but far enough from street noises. Buses, trains and site seeing tour buses were very close to the hotel, as were shops. Some places of interest were also very close by. Definately worth the stay, but would go there again should I ever visit Barcelona again.
“Fine Barcelona hotel”
Excellently located, the hotel also had excellent security. The room was large, the bathroom very modern, heavy terry robes were provided, and the minibar was spacious. Only 2 English language channels on TV were available.
“Loved the Ritz Roger de LLuria”
I have to say that everyone in the hotel was friendly, helpful, in providing information about places to go and directions, as well as attentive. I would go back hands down and highly recommend this as a place to stay.
“Nous y retournons dès que possible”
Hôtel bien situé pour la visite de la ville
“Would definitely recommend”
Very happy with hotel choice, which was booked as a result of Expedia recommendations. Ideally located - very easy bus transfer from airport - especially if you use a wheely case. Hotel is a couple of blocks from the main square - Placa Catalunya. The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything was provided for - from robes to shoe shine brushes. Traffic a little noisy but comfy beds so slept well. Breakfast in the hotel was expensive (around 18 euros) so ate out each morning.
“Great location to see Barcelona”
Hotel quality was excellent. We were in a triple which was large for a European hotel with 3 actual beds. We also had a small balcony with a nice view of the back of the hotel. Hotel is on a quiet street but only 2 blocks from the Canalonya Square and all the action.
