Lovely and convenient.
We stayed at Madanis for 3 nights and in particular appreciated the location of the hotel, it is a few minutes walk from the metro and has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and relatively modern. Would stay here again.

Small room but cozy 2 blocks from Camp Nou Barcelona. Restaurants around hotel, bus & train station a block away super easy to transport no car needed. Will come back again. Wifi very strong good for work

Unpleasantly Hot Stay at Madanis lacking service
Hotel check in was easy, and upon entering the room, it was quite hot, and attempting to turn on the Air Conditioning, but it did not function at all. I called down to the front desk to resolve this, and they shortly sent someone up, he checked it and stated he would have to fix it the next day. The room was horribly hot all night, and as I was only on the 2nd floor opening the window was also very loud during certain hours due to car and foot traffic. The next day the AC was NOT fixed and stayed in non-functional condition. The room is small, and mine had stains on the carpet, and the shower only had half a barrier, and you must be very careful not to flood your bathroom. I asked a housekeeper for 4 towels, but she seemed reluctant to give me more than 2. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Although I did have an experience where I was going to take empty coffee cups to drink my medicinal teas before leaving for work. The attendant of the buffet told me I in no way allowed to bring the cups out of the room, although there was over 70 cups unused stacked at the coffee machine in a eating hall which seats less than 20 people. His solution was to have themes bring me a cup, although I did not have time for this and did not see my solution as problematic in any way.

Away from the crowded center of city but many nice restaurants and shops around and easy access to metro line 2 minutes walk that gets us to the center of coty in 4 minutes!! Will recommend.

The location is good with nearby supermarkets, restaurants and cafes and great for Barcelona fan as the stadium is near too. I am staying in room 605 and the water supply for the shower head at times become very small near impossible to bathe. That is the only thing I dislike.

the hotel is perfect form cleanliness, spacious rooms and connectivity perspective . 5 mins to Collblanc metro means direct connection to airport (l9) + city center through l5 and others. rooms are bit on the noisy side with paper walls letting in sounds og things like water , neighbouring rooms a bit too easily.

Ok if you have to stay near Collblanc metro st
We stayed for two nights. Staff were friendly and wifi was okay. However, we were disappointed with the hotel. When entered the room, it had a very strange smell and we had to leave the balcony door open for a while. The room was too dark and not enough lights so we had to leave the bathroom door open to let the lights in. Carpet looked tired so it might explain why. For breakfast, I wished that I had not prepaid for breakfast.

Hotel is really close to a subway station with direct access to the airport. Good area with restaurants and if you are going to watch a Barcelona game it is in walking distance to the arena and soccer stadium.

Nice hotel, however parking is not included and no mention of the cost is stated on their website. They claim to have reserved parking for hotel guests. Technically correct but what they don’t tell you is it’s €22 a day. Pretty annoying this isn’t clearly stated. Otherwise a reasonable hotel, shame about the misleading advertising

Positive experience
Good place - I would recommend it to anyone staying int hat area around Camp Nou. Food was good too - the breakfast buffet had quite a few options and a couple of nights a really enjoyed their dinner menu. All in all, a very positive experience.

All about location!
Our family of 4 (children 5 & 7) stayed at Medanis in Nov during Thanksgiving break for 1 night at the end of our trip. We had traveled from Madrid, and are back to Barcelona for 1 night before headed back home. 1. Location was awesome. It was short walk from Metro station, including the L9 line to the airport. It was 2 or 3 stops away from the Sans train station that we came from, and the next day we take L9 to airport. 30 mins metro ride to airport. 2. When booking the room, it states maximum 2 adult and 2 children, can stayed in the same room so I booked it. But at check-in was told the room I booked cannot have more than 3 people?? Anyway, staff was nice and gave us a room at their Medanis apartment rental next door. Didn't try to charge us extra which was nice. But the place, even though it is an apartment is SMALL. 1 room, kitchennette counter, and a sofa bed. There's no room to lay your luggage anywhere. 3. Bed was OK comfortable. Clean. 4. Bathroom was small very small. You have to walk aside to the corner in order to close/open the bathroom door. 5. Cable tv with some English cartoon to entertain kids was nice. 6. Large balcony which is nice. When you look out from the balcony, one can feel like I'm totally immersed with the locals. 7. Safe and convenient area; and it's nice to be away from the touristy area.

Hotel is not very close to the city center or airport.You have to take train to the city center. Train to airport is about 40 min.

Lovely hotel close to Camp Nou
The staff made us feel really welcomed and were helpul with directions and excusions, was able to give us discounts also. Our hotel room overlooked Camp Nou (saw the top tier of the stadium). The hop on and hop off bus was really good for visiting the city and managed to get to the Zoo and Stade de Famillia. Would defintely stay there again when we go back to Barcelona.

Our stay at the Hotel Madanis was pleasant. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel itself was well kept and the rooms clean. The metro was nearby providing easy access to the major tourist attractions. Excellent location if your a futbol fan attending matches just one block away. Overall I would definitely stay at the Hotel Madanis again.

Good hotel. Convenient location. Close to Metro.
This hotel is in a good location. It is across the road from Camp Nou, a five minute walk. The Metro is also a five minute walk making it easy to get into the centre of Barcelona which takes around 15 minutes. Also very easy to get to from airport. Just take Line 9S (orange line), from terminal to Collblanc. Takes 30 minutes and costs 4.5 Euros. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The twin bedded room was spacious with a double size shower. The decor was a little tired and the carpet was stained, however, the bed was very comfortable and overall it was a good experience.

Hotel close to Comp Nou
We had a fantastic stay. Access to the Metro is very close to the hotel or local bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Barcelona is a city of many faces and is wonderful to explore.

My girlfriend and I stayed one week in a tiny room in an out of the way hotel. However, neighborhood was safe and there was a close metro station to hop on a train and be in the center within 30 minutes. Friendly staff but room was dirty. Finally, I asked the front desk if someone could visit my room to sweep it. No one showed up so the next day I asked the front desk for a broom which they surprisingly provided. (Room is half carpeted) I swept out my own room and it was clean for the rest of my stay. Didn't seem like a four star hotel to us.

We loved our stay here, close to so much, and if u r a sporting fan the stadium is within sight of the hotel. The BREAKFAST wasn't very good, microwaved or raw everything (bacon was raw everyday of 3) Scrambled eggs were floating in liquid, enough to turn your stomach every morning.

Nice hotel, close to the Barcelona stadium
Its a great hotel for a couple or if you are traveling for business like I was. breakfast is good, overall condition and comfort of the hotel it self is great. I have also ate dinner at the hotel and I must say that it is great food. If you are staying at his hotel try the dinner at least once, you will not regret it.

Perfect location
The hotel is incredible. The location near Camp Nou is ideal for people going to see a game. It is centraled perfect to get to the Ramblas with just a bus ride away

Though advertised on Expedia to be 4 star, it's a 3 star hotel. A nice 3 star, with especially excellent reception staff who were very helpful. The room we booked for 3 people was rather cramped but the staff were very accommodating and soon transferred us to one of the Madanis apartments at no extra charge, as we were staying there for over a week. We did appreciate that and wanted to thank the staff especially Anais at Reception. Very good breakfast. Close to the Metro, and east access to different parts of the city.

Was in Barcelona to watch FCB. Walking distance to Camp Nou and convenient to restaurants. Air conditioning in room wasn't very good and beds were too soft for me, making it difficult to sleep. Was worth being close to the stadium.

nice and cozy room with balcony
I love the balcony over looking the city. I can walk out to the balcony from inside the room and really experience "living" in beautiful Barcelona. I can see people rushing to work, taking their kids to school, hanging their clothes to dry over their balconies, drinking coffee and eating meals, etc. Just a wonderful experience. The room is a little small but adequately sized with all necessary amenities. The bathroom and furniture are modern and very clean. Location is only a bus hop away from all attractions. Staff is so nice and wonderful and very helpful. Would definitely come back again.
