“Impressed with this hotel”

Very clean and spacious modern hotel in quiet, pleasant area. Our room was large and well equipped with lovely bathroom. Located very close to magic fountains and Montjuic with some nice walks from the hotel. Easy to get to the more central areas (eg La Rambla)via the Espanya metro which is very efficient and easy to use. A few nice restaurants close by but for more choice you would need to go more central. Nice little pattiserie across the road which we found very handy. We didn't use hotel dining facilities so cannot comment on these. Overall a great hotel - we would stay there again.

“No complaints”

Hotel was great, use of indoor pool and gym, fantastic breakfast, quiet neighbourhood, 15 mins from airport by taxi, 5 minute walk from metro. Location good for Montjuic area and metro will take you anywhere else although not good if beach is main reason for visit.

“Unexpectedly great experience”

This hotel was built for the 1992 Olympics. It is contemporary, spacious and beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful with every need and question we had. They all spoke English, which was also quite helpful. Our room was very large with two queen beds, TV, very nice bathroom. The beds were extra long (for athletes we think) and rather firm. The location was convenient with a taxi stand right outside. The neighborhood seemed safe. We walked to dinner at a local restaurant recommended by the hotel. The overall experience exceeded our expectations.

“Hôtel Fira Palace Barcelone”

Hôtel de bonne classe, calme, près de l'arrivée de la navette de l'aéroport. Les seules notes moyennes concernent le restaurant de l'hôtel, de qualité très moyenne (contrairement au petit déjeuner), et la piscine qui n'est pas super.

Chambre très spacieuse, au calme, bien situé à 20mns du centre à pied. Ideal pour découvrir Barcelone.

“Top Hotel for doing the Barcelona Marathon”

Fira Palace Hotel in Barcelona is an excellent hotel - clean, good facilities and the BEST location if you're travelling to Barcelona to do the city marathon as it is about a 2 minute walk to the start/finish line and more importantly only 2 minutes back! Although not in the old town the location was good for the museums, Montjuic area and public transport via Placa Espanya to everywhere else including the airport. It was also a bit quieter in this area and the modern building allows for a leisure facilities including pool, larger rooms and corridors. Overall very happy with our stay and we would certainly use the hotel again.

“Great location for exploring Barcelona”

Good position - next door to beautiful Font Magica and ten minutes' walk to Poble Espanyol. Top notch restaurant in same street: Rias de Galicia. Five minutes' walk to tube. Excellent accommodation and great service. Breakfast really good value - good start to day. Staff very helpfull. Highly recommended!

“Very Impressive Hotel”

This hotel was lovely and had large rooms for a European Hotel. It was within a short walking distance to 2 metro stops and was surrounded by small restaurants. It was approximately a 30 euro cab ride from the airport.

“Very impressed”

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Barcelona area. It's in a more quiet area, yet still central to all the touristy areas. About a 10 minute walk from metro. The rooms were very comfortable and large, specifically the bathroom showers! What makes this hotel an even better stay is the friendly staff.
