“Excellent!”
A very good modern hotel only a few minutes from the hussle and bussle of the centre of Barcelona. The staff were extremely helpful, providing maps and local information. Would def return and reccommend to others!
“Good value for money.”
The hotel is less than 10 mins walk from La Ramblas (use a map or your nose to find the short cut through small shops and boutiques)so is in an excellent central location for sight seeing either on foot, by tour bus or public transport. The hotel itself is small and has a traditional exterior; however it has obviously been recently renovated and has a very contemporary interior decor throughout. Our room had double glazed windows (needed in Barcelona because of the traffic) and was comfortable and clean (serviced daily); ideal for a three or four day stay. The buffet breakfast was simple, but freshly prepared with a hot and cold choice. I have to add that the receptionist who booked us in on the evening of 19th August was exceptionally helpful when I was feeling unwell one morning and thus made our stay more enjoyable. I would definately recommend this hotel; no unwelcome surprises!
“Nice place”
We liked our two rooms here. The reading nightlight was handy. The lobby computer operates by coins.
“Excellent hotel and location”
Hotel location is perfect, close enough to the main areas but far enough not to be affected by street noise from the main centre. Didn't have breakfast based on advice from prev review comments but excellent cafe on the corner for breakfast (4 people, tea/coffee, croissants/pastries average 13 euro's all in)
“I would definately go back to this hotel.”
This was a really good city hotel. It is in a good location within 5 - 10 minutes walk from La Ramblas. The rooms are not huge as you would expect in a city hotel but they are of a high standard and the bathroom is really lovely. I was staggered to read that some of the reviews were not good as in small room or not a good view or traffic noises. I dont agree with any of these and what do people expect from a city centre hotel.
“Brilliant!”
Our party of 8 people en route to a cruise greatly enjoyed our stay in this stylish, quiet friendly and well located hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and a member of the reception staff gave thoughtful advice which resulted in a money saving taxi ride to the port and in a recommendation for Tapas which provided us with a wonderful memorable and affordable evening. 6 of us chose to have breakfast and greatly enjoyed the quality and variety of the items on offer and the peaceful unhurried setting in which to enjoy it.
“Hotel Advance”
This hotel turned out to be perfect for a weekend break, good location, nice size room and very helpful staff. The room I stayed in had a balcony which I thought was a bonus, however the noise of the traffic may be a problem for those who would prefer a more quiet location. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at The Hotel Advance.
“Great hotel, good price, perfect location”
This hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was excellent. The location is in walking distance to almost anything you want to see. I would highly suggest it. Warning: the walls are paper thin (as they were in all of the hotels we stayed at in Spain) don't be surprised if you hear the people next door talking.

Very fine hotel, friendly people, clean, luxurious, close by metro... Starbucks around the corner ;)
“Excellent value for money”
We chose this hotel based on the reviews and were not disappointed. It's very modern, within easy walking distance from the hub of everything.The rooms are clean with crisp white sheets and lovely new white towels in the bathroom. We were able to buy the tourist bus tickets at the hotel at a considerable saving and found the staff helpful in all respects.
