Very centric at a good price
Hostal LK has a privileged location as it’s extremely centric, very close to Metro and bus stations and less than 5min walking from Plaza Espanya. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Our only issue during our stay was that the air conditioning broke after the first night, but they offered to move us the next day to another room which was working correctly. The staff was always very friendly and responsive.

El Hostal LK tiene una información falsa. Dice que tiene aire acondicionado y restaurante pero no es cierto. Con el calor de Barcelona es insoportable aunque deje la ventana abierta. El abanico q tenía en el cuarto se apagaba solo. Y de noche no hay quien duerma. En la calle hay mucho ruido hasta las 3am hasta gritos y peleas. Fue horrible. Los baños son compartidos y no tienen ni seguro en las puertas. No lo recomiendo.

The place was old.. The staff was great but the tv had poor signal.. 2 towels only.. i had to request for more towels.. and had to give them the old ones in order to get new ones..

We have been wth 4 person family and we recommend. Perfect location, room very simple but has everything what is needed if you are going only to sleep here. Staff very kind and helpful.

The room was very quiet, mattress comfortable, we were able to rest. Good location and plenty of small restaurants around. Good to rest but the room is small, AC worked but we have to work to get it. The bathroom needs some remodelation but it is OK. Reception people are very friendly

If u r looking for a place to sleep only, this is ur hostel. I stayed in a double bed room for 3 days. I had no issues. We shared a bathroom and the bathroom was ok.

The room was as expected, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Being near Plaça España and Barcelona Sants stations was a huge plus. The shared bathroom was pretty stressful even though I usually choose hostels, there’s nowhere to change privately or keep your things safe while dry...

Worth every euro!
Great staff, very accommodating! Props to Kamal for making our stay so wonderful. The area is in a perfect, prime location. It's walking distance to many sightseeing destinations, and to many major bus and train stops. In short, very convenient.

No air conditioner in our room.
We reservered a double room for one night. The room was smell badly. Too many people to share only one toilet with bathroom. No air conditioner in our room which only have two fans. Include breakfast but with really basic food. The staffs were nice and the location is good.

Substandard hostel, but clean and good location
They say you get what you pay for... well, in this case I paid way too much for what was basically a very basic room in a youth hostel. Shared bathroom was clean but towels and sheets were ripped (the towel had two big holes), there's no air con just a basic fan and they don't even sell you water which is crazy in barcelona in the summer. I had to walk 15 mins to grab some in the middle of the night. The location is very convenient, less than 10 mins walk from airport bus stop, so if you just need a place to crash for a few hours in between flights (which was my case), it's acceptable but the standard is very low for what you tend to get in Spain for that price

Close to centre of Barcelona. Supermarket next door as was a shop that sold everything else. Staff very helpful. Fridge available. Elevator. Our room 1st floor. Public transport nearby. Bus station walking distance.

Well situated for everything.
Quiet room at back, off main street. Springs on bed nor comfortable but acceptable. Very clean. Need more pillows. All in all very good.

Wonderful reception from Esmerelda at front desk...warm smile and helpful!Kamal was excellent at the night desk as he could not have been more helpful or interested in our welfare.there was a slight problem in our room but when reported, it was dealt with immediately and with an apology.The room was clean and adequate,the shower great...but sadly,the walls are thin,and our neighbours arrived in the wee small hours,talked loudly and turned on the TV,disturbing our sleep...The location of this Hostal was excellent...a very short walk,even pulling a suitcase, from Sants station and Placa Espana from where we caught the airport bus...and the train to Montserrat.there is a kettle in the reception area for making tea but the communal refrigerator was not working,reportedly to be replaced.

Just ok.
This place was ok. Only stayed for 1 night. It was about a 5 min walk to train station which was perfect but it wasn't the cleanest. The shower was the worst. Beds were comfortable though and the price was good.

Clean and tidy hotel, ideal location
Hotel is within walking distance of la rambla, the port and the camp nou, staff were really friendly, room always tidy and the beds comfortable. Only downside was the shower was cold most mornings but I'm not sure if this was a fault just with my room
