Overall I am ok, but this hotel is just far from the center of the city. You will need to take a taxi everywhere. two things that are not very happy. First, you can hear everything from the street. Second, one morning I was going to take a shower around 5am, no hot water, the water just not cold.

Good stay with good price and near the beach. Not too close to other touristic areas. It was my birthday and they left me a little surprise/gift for when I arrived, which I really appreciated.

This hotel location is far from transportation station (metro , tram and train ) as well as the airport, One of staff is very rude , They market rooms with balcony when you book and come to checkin they offer different rooms than photos. This hotel comparing to other 4 stars hotel in spain and barcelona deserve 3 stars maximum I have requested late checkout at 2 pm the last night of my stay because my flight is at 7 pm , next day at 12 pm one of staff knock the door in spite of putting no disturbance sign at the door then she came in the room while I’m in my underwear….. she didn’t apologize when she saw my request of late checkout the night before …. It was very unprofessional and disrespectful

Despite not being a positive comment thank you for sharing it with us because this way we can continue to improve our services.First, we deeply regret for all the inconveniences that you felt and had during your stay at the hotel, that is not our intentions nor the aim of the hotel since our goal is to provide good service to our customers. With that, please accept our most sincere apologies.On the other hand, please hear us out and hear our part because you've made some remarks that we think are untrue and misleading.First, the reservation that you had is a double standard room. The one that you are telling that we are false commercialising with balcony is a double superior room with balcony and sea-view or double superior room with balcony. Maybe while browsing the pictures of the hotel, you saw these rooms, but you didn't read the name of the categories. As you can see, it's so clear at the room descriptions and categories if the room has a balcony or without. But you can always upgrade your reservation to a room with balcony, paying an extra cost.Regarding the location of the hotel, we are sorry that it’s not what you were expecting but the location is neither good nor bad. It’s just depended on the perception of each guest. The hotel is 8 minutes walking distance close to the beach, 12-15 minutes walking to a big convention centre, 2 minutes walking to a bus stop that can take you to the city centre and 8-10 minutes walking to a metro stop that can take you anywhere Barcelona. So, it can pretty accommodate any business trip guest or a holiday maker guest. If you would have come at the reception, we could have help you with these.Regarding the late check-out that you said that you requested the night before, we are truly sorry about what happened. There must be a misunderstanding with the other department. We will make sure nothing like won’t happen again. Please accept our most sincere apologies. Despite this last experience with us has not been to his liking, we would love to receive you again, and show that the occurrence of your last stay with us are isolated cases. Hotel is very clean but property is old and poor service. Elevator need maintenance or upgrade. No proper instruction to call front desk or room service no matter which button is used. AC was not working. Water bottle was not provided at all even if it is charged. The only good thing about it is it was close to the conference area. Not recommended for visit. Price is high compare to other five stars hotels.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is really good for quick beach access and a short walk to the nearby Ramblas. A small supermarket (Condis) is just around the corner so very convenient. If you are lucky, you will get a sea view from your window. The only downfalls with this hotel is the lack of a swimming pool and no tea/coffee facilities in your room.

Lovely location for the beach. Room starting to look a little shabby now - mirror damaged around edge, robe stained etc - just gave a feeling of needing a refresh. Housekeeping came really late (5pm ish) both days which was very late and when you were likely to be back in the room. For the price we paid, it was ok.

The room (junior suite) requires some refurbishment. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly , but the biggest downside was the absence of proper breakfast. We were told it had been abandoned due to COVID-related precautions but this was actually just a pretext as we were passing by a few other hotels in the same area of Barcelona and noticed proper breakfast was served there .

Pros. The property was very clean and in a great location for the beach at Barcelona. Downside. The hotel comes with free wifi but the wifi is so slow its almost none existent. There were no facilities in the room such as tea and coffee or free water. There was no sky TV. The only TV was local TV which had 2 English news channels. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the room upstairs

Very nice stay for 4 days...very close to the beach. Metro 10 minutes walk away with a tour bus stop just a few metres away, A few nice restaurants also just a few metres away. Basically you get what you pay for...a 4 star hotel for 4 star prices. I never understand people who want to pay 4 star prices but still get 5 star quality and then complain when they don't!

Most apathetic customer service in my experience
Actually a great location, near the beach and also with restaurants that are great. We really liked Almas nearby, which the locals seems to frequented. The hotel looks nothing like the photos. There are no spitting places outside with parasols. The entrance is small and crampy, and you have to take the stairs two flights to get to the reception. Once you get to the hotel reception, you will be ignored by the staff for a loooong time. We were dumbstruck by how they pretended to not even see us. After they acknowledged our presence, it was like "uhm, what are you doing here?". Luckily everything went just fine after that. The staff does not greet you when you walk by the reception, which we found weird and unpleasant. Will not stay with this hotel again.

Horrible experience - Air conditioning did not work in two different rooms. Waking into the lobby, it was so hot and humid, I was wondering how my room was going to turn out. It was super hot and muggy waking into my room, the unconcerned staff said it was because the air conditioning was not running, but four, six, ten hours later it was still so hot I couldn’t sleep. I complained and was put in another room the next night with the same result. Don’t ever stay there in warm months. I flew to Italy shortly after where the rooms had wonderful air conditioning so, I would give this property the lowest rating possible. A staff that doesn’t care and rooms with horrible air conditioning.

Great location right off the beach and we found a couple of decent restaurants nearby. The breakfast offered by the hotel was outstanding. It is a couple kilometers away from where all the shopping seemed to be but that was good for us since we weren't there to shop and we were easily able to find a place to shop. Also it is right near one of the bus tour stops (the red bus) so it was very convenient.

Within easy walking distance of Congress centre
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. The painters had been painting the corridor outside my room when I arrived so there was flakes of old paint along the corridor caerpet and it smelt of paint on my floor. The room was quiet apart from heels clicking on the floor above and occasional raised voices from the corridor as I was near a lift. It was nice to be able to open a window without having traffic noise as there was a playground below..Surroundings are residential and I felt safe.
