The H10 MontCada, Barcelona, has 79 guestrooms, all of which are bright and light with large windows, white walls, wooden floors, and wooden furniture. White bedspreads with black lines accompany crisp white sheets and pillowcases. Rooms have desks with chairs, minibars, built in mirrored wardrobes, and cream and red curtains. En suite marble bathrooms have white suites. Some rooms have tub and shower combinations others have showers only.

Dining
MontCada restaurant - Open daily for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is buffet style while the à la carte dinner menu features modern Mediterranean dishes that include paella, game, meat, fish, and poultry. The restaurant is a light dining space with pale yellow walls and wooden floors, white tablecloths, stylish wall lights and illuminated paintings. Pillars and movable screens provide some privacy for guests. The restaurant can be hired for business meetings and functions.
Bar - The relaxed lobby bar is a tranquil haven away from the busy street. Finishing touches include ornate lamps and chrome framed dark wood tables. Soft background music, sofas with large cushions, and plants add to the peaceful atmosphere. Snacks and drinks are served throughout the day until late evening.
Recreation
Five-minutes walk from the Old Port and 15-minutes walk from Olympic Port, the hotel is conveniently located for water based activities.

“Very nice hotel and location”
Overall i enjoyed staying at this hotel, especially its location is great very close to the subway which takes you virtually anywhere you want to go. Friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms were some big positives too. My only gripe would be the low signal on the free wi-fi in the hotel which caused slow connection speeds in most of the room.

A very good hotel, very well positioned in central Barcelona. A superb roof top bar with wonderful views over the city, which catches the early evening sun. Very good, friendly staff.
“Barcelona's Hotel MontCada”
Very clean...helpful staff and small but neat rooms. Hardwood floors, nice bath with foot wash. Two bathrobes were in the room and there is a lovely little bar on the roof of the hotel with great views of Barcelona. The hotel is in a nice location....not far from port, 10 minutes from La Rambles and on edge of gothic quarter....free internet with two computers in the lobby...we greatly enjoyed our two days.
“Belle prestation”
Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hotel (week end). Accueil très sympathique avec une coupe de cava. Hôtel très bien situé (face à la cathédrale), à deux minutes du métro et proche de tous les sites principaux à visiter. Une chambre assez petite mais confortable avec une bonne literie, une grande salle de bain, un petit déjeuner buffet avec une grande variété de choix en sucré et salé.
“Rooms on the small side, but incredibly modern and clean”
Location is fantastic and you are immediately hit with superb air conditioning when you walk into the lobby, just what you need in Barca. Our room was small, but we had a very comfortable bed and all mod cons in the room, including fridge, safe, flat screen tv, good A/C and a bathroom with all mod cons, although the shower was a bit lame. Views from the room were brilliant (8th floor room). The roof top terrace is great to have a drink before heading out at night, although the jacuzzi is only usable between 10am and 1pm as then they reserve it for people paying for treatments. The hotel staff were fantastic and very helpful. Location is great, opposite the cathedral and 1 min from Jaume I metro stop which can take you down to Barceloneta and Port Olimpic in 2 stops for the evening night out. If we return to Barcelona, we will definitely book this again.
“Our stay in Barcalona”
Great staff and very nice welcome. Room a bit small but well maintained with free Wifi which is really helpful. Roof terrace was a really good additional feature. We will return there next time we're in Barcalona.
“Great location, great staff.”
Took a short break and chose H10 Montcada for its location in the Gothic area. Easy 10 min walk from Placa de Catalunya where the airport buses stop. We were a little early to check in but were able to leave our bags with reception while we explored the area a little until our room was ready. Our room was on the 5th floor, still able to hear some traffic noise but to be expected in the middle of a city. The room was a little on the small size, however it was clean and fresh. Bed was firm but comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and well equipped with all the usual amenities. The only thing that was lacking was a coat hook to hang a wet coat from as the only hanging space was inside the wardrobe. Also there was no clock in the room but I'm being picky here, overall it was excellent. Views over Barcelona from the hotel roof were impressive. Breakfast seemed a little expensive at the hotel so went to the cafe across the road for better value. Buy fresh fruit juice from one of the markets where it is even cheaper. If you are going to visit Gaudi's Sagrada Familia buy your tickets on-line as the queue at the building is huge. We used the hotels computer and printer (free for guests) to buy ours. There is free Wi-Fi at the hotel which worked perfectly too. There is no queue for pre-brought tickets so prevented at least 2 hours waiting in hot sun.
“Excellent Hotel”
Our room was fairly small but comfortable, the location was perfect for getting to various sites on foot and for getting to public transportation, and the staff were extremely helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast.
“A solid choice!”
H10 Montcada is a clean, updated hotel with an excellent location & reasonable rates. Various staff members were helpful and friendly (they arranged for a cab to the airport very early in the AM, for instance). Free internet access in the lobby is a bonus for the international traveler. The free glass of cava upon check in was a nice touch. The hotel is directly across the street from the gothic quarter (with the Barcelona cathedral also right nearby). Also directly across the street is a metro stop--a crucial plus in trying to cover a lot of ground. The rooftop bar had terrific views and atmosphere--make sure you check it out. Lastly, the room itself: clean and modern, but our room was a bit small (e.g., no desk or chairs--only bed, mini-bar, closet). The bathroom, however, was quite spacious, and, again, modern and clean. The AC was functional but didn't get the room completely frigid (which I sometimes like, esp. in 95 degree weather). The bed was clean and comfortable. No English speaking TV on the cable. All in all the perfect choice for a two night stay in Barca.
“Good Location”
This was the second hotel I stayed at while in Barcelona. The location was excellent! It was with walking distance to many locations and had shopping nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing about the hotel I didn't like was the room was pretty small and the mattress wasn't comfortable at all.
