“Excellent Location”

Only one hiccup - I paid for breakfast and mini bar as I went but they obviously didn't record it. Lost count of the amount of times I had to explain - twas a little irritating and perhaps more efficient recording of payments would make it more pleasant. Still enjoyed the place though and staff were friendly...

“Good quality basic hotel”

Very pleased with choice of hotel. Rooms modern and clean (with new furnishings). Beds comfortable. This is not a groovy or upmarket hotel but is clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Location was excellent as very central - to wander down ramblas or old quarter or wander up to Gaudi houses etc. Also, really handy for airport bus - the bus drops you off in the square where the hotel is based.

“Good value in ideal location”

Good location for main sites - underground, buses, tour bus, shops, Ramblas etc. We had triple room - pleasantly surprised - comfortable, enough space, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. Good Value - only negative was the drains smell in the lift and lobby area!

Nice hotel, good services, well maintained. Just keep in mind the rooms are very small.

i have to rate this hotel as "excellent value." although the hotel room was small, i believe that is the norm in barcelona. the room was very clean and the floors were wood (not a dirt infested carpet). third bed was a fold-down love seat - not worth the full price for a third person in the room. very small quaters. tv hardly received anything worth viewing. quality was very poor. biggest "problem" was that they advertised that the "treat is on us" and then mentioned coffee, pastries and fruits. i thought this meant "breakfast." not so. more like "high tea," offered in the p.m. i chose this hotel from among comparable hotels for this "breakfast," but it never happened. their breakfast was 15 euros per person. great location.

“Ideal location, tour buses & airport shuttle all across the street”

Hotel located in Catalunya plaza but was hard to find when i got off the airport shuttle, as the address is not clear. Needed better direction regarding which building it was under. Perfect location, the tour buses etc all stop across the street and La Ramblas is right there. Hotel staff very helpful, but wish that breakfast was included. the only real problem was the half door in the shower so water splattered everwhere. My room had a balcony overlooking the square. There is a big dept store across the plaza that has a grocery store in the basement and the store is open until 10pm. Would definitely recommend it. The downsize was that after you check in they just hand you the key, no bellboy and no instructions given. room gets very hot at night but the controls are in the room and I had to ask the reception about it and they told me how to turn on the A/C to keep the room from feeling hot.

Très bon hôtel ... Belles et vastes chambres, propres. Petit déjeuner plutôt copieux . Je recommande cet hotel qui bénéficie d'une situation priviligiée face à la Placa Catalunya ... vrai point névralgique de Barcelone ...

“Great Location! Good service and staff”

Hotel is located on the heart of the city. Tour bus stops and metro are just in front of the hotel. Great staff and services as well. Highly recommended.

Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel pour tout ceux qui comme, nous ne connaissent pas Barcelone. Sa situation centrale (les bus vous déposent à la place Catalunya en 20 mn de l'aéroport) vous traversez la place et vous êtes à l'hotel, les Ramblas sont presque au pied de l'hôtel(150m). Un acceuil sympathique avec Champagne, puis la découverte de la chambre propre, confortable et agréable. Tout s'est très bien passé, le petit déjeuner est correct en plus d'être dans une salle trés jolie avec ses peintures et hauts plafonds. Près du bar un comptoir où vous trouverez du café, thé, viennoiseries ou gourmandises avec champagne et vin, le tout à disposition et offert 24/24. Bref, un Hôtel à recommander à tous.
