“grupohotel gravina”

the hotel was very modern and the location central to everything. the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. also, the breakfast buffet (included in the price) was very good). the only negative was that the room was not very quiet--the walls seemed thin. this was only and issue, however, because we were traveling with our 2year old and so were sleeping probably earlier than many others in the hotel.

“Ideal location for walking the city”

This is a centrally located, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful. The room is a decent size for a city centre hotel, bathroom well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is very good offering a selection ranging from continental to practically a full English with add-ons such as fruit, yogurt etc. The hotel's location, close to the Placa de la Universitat and about three minutes from the Ramblas and Placa Catalunya make it ideal for exploring the old quarter (Barri Gotic), and equally so for many of the galleries and museums the city has to offer.

“very impressed, not your typical 2.5 star hotel in Europe”

it's better than any 2.5 star hotel at home I would go there any time I find myself in barcelona. THe service was excellent and they make you feel as if you were in a 5 star hotel

“good location”

This hotel was well situated,off the main road that led straight to Las Ramblas and in easy walking distance of the Metro. We had a triple room and were pleasantly suprised of the arragment for three people. The third bed was a sofa bed, but it was situated in an alcove which allowed for privacy when reading or watching tv. The buffet breakfast was enormous! Traditional English, cereals, breakfast pastries, yogurts cheesecakes and doughnuts, wanted to try it all! very very filling. unfortunatly we arrived at 11am and could not check in until 2pm, but we were allowed to leave our luggage. However this is a great time to get the tour bus located at the Placa Catalunya ,a 10 min walk from the hotel, you pay as you board so no need to seek out tourist information first.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel is in a great location - very near to La Ramblas. It is spotlessly clean, we had a large room with very effective air conditioning and comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was good and all the staff were very helpful. We plan to go back to Barcelona and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Quiet but central”

Excellent hotel in a quiet street close to Las Ramblas. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly and an immediate upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good but if there is any critisicm it would be that they were slightly understaffed in the busy period.

“Excellent Hotel, Friendly Staff”

I would reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in Barcelona, the staff were all very friendly, the housekeeping was great and with the location being just a few mins walk from Placa de Catalunya it was ideal. I would say the only downside to this hotel, if you would think it a downside is it is quite a long walk to the best restaurants, bars and clubs but if your looking for somewhere quiet with good transport links this place is great!

“It met my expectation!”

The location of the hotel is excellent. You can walk everywhere and all other transportations are available nearby. We had a nice size room (just like the picture posted in the website) but not much a view from the window. The room is very clean and the service is good. Bascially this hotel met my expectation and I got what I paid for. BTW, the hotel is so close to the Airport bus stop and it only costs 5 euro per person. It is much cheaper from taking a taxi. I enjoyed my stay there.

“Super agréable , mais avec choix de prestations supérieures”

Nous avons été accueillis avec une coupe de champagne, la chambre était parfaite avec un petit salon , la salle de bain en marbre bien équipée,le petit déjeuner buffet ,hum , une merveille ! Climatisation , balcon , tout était parfait C'est un cadeau merveilleux que m'a fait mon mari !
