“A good choice!”

This hotel permitted early check-in...10:00 a.m. on a Friday after we returned from a cruise, which was great. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The only negative experience was the noise at night from people having a good time...watching soccer I think, and partying downstairs on the hotel patio. I slept through it. My wife was kept awake a bit by it. The location is very good. We walked to Sagrada Familia in 30 minutes, La Rambla in about 20 minutes, and there are plenty of shops for food, drink and other stuff very close to the hotel. We walked to the Starbucks that was about three blocks away for coffee and breakfast and used local deli-like places for subs and the like for lunch. There is a Tapas bar about a 10 minute walk away in the direction of La Rambla that is called the Cerverceria Tapas, I think. It was very good at dinner and not terribly expensive. I recommend it highly for Tapas, though it does get crowded and noisy with locals and tourists.

the hotel is nice, but it is far from the strip. you have to subway it, but it is doable. the hotel is nice, free internet service. very modern. i would stay here again.

il fait très chaud dans les chambres, la clim ne fonctionne pas bien et est très bruyante !!

Hotel situé à 5 min de la station Diagonale dans une rue calme. Bon Hotel, bon service, bon état des chambres mais niveau 3 étoiles. Pas de petit déjeuner compris, pas de couette dans les lits, uniquement des draps et couverture. Petit plus : la baignoire dans la salle de bain. Je conseille cet hôtel pour sa situation centrale et la tranquillité de la rue.

“Lost in Barcelona”

If you drive to Barcelona, I suggest you park and take another mode of transportation. We had difficulty with the heavy traffic and one way streets. We did find it convenient to use the hotel's secured parking( for a fee) and walked and rode a tour bus.

“Barcelona Hotel”

We stayed at this location during 4/2010 and had a nice time. The hotel is adequate but the beds were super hard. Room quite small and with luggage, almost impossible to walk around in. Bathroom nice. Seems far away from everything but easy access to metro down 2 blocks. Nice area. Staff friendly. Temperature hard to control in the room.

“Nice hotel, hard beds”

The hotel was very nice and in a safe area. We could walk easily to all of the major attractions of Barcelona. The hotel staff directed us to a very good restaurant for dinner as well. Parking was available for our rental car in a secured garage under the hotel. However, while we generally prefer firm mattresses, the beds here were rock hard, and very uncomfortable to sleep on.
