“Great location”

We booked this apartment without any prior knowledge of the location etc. Could not have been better. We arrived via taxi for 27 euros from the airport. If you arrive by train from the airport it is only a 10 - 15 minute walk from Placa de Gracias & the station. We called Albert as requested on the front door of the apartments & we were met by Bridgit within 10 minutes. She was friendly & gave us an explanation of where things were in the apartment & the surrounding location & left us a guide book to supplement ours. Location- fantastic! 5 minutes walk from Gran Via, Universitat Metro station (giving great access to anywhere) & Placa Catalunya. 10 minutes from the top of Las Ramblas. The area of L'Eixample is safe & nice to walk around. A bakery next door to the apartment has lovely pastries & croissants for breakfast. There is a fab restaurant, Origen, left out of apartment, first right. Fresh organic food that is a delight. The only negative- we were a family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 teenagers & the sleeping arrangements were a double bed & a double sofa bed- so this could be difficult for some. But for 3 nights we coped OK. Would highly recommend this for a short weekend break.

“good accomodation for family, has kitchen and living room”

We selected this apartment because not a lot of Hotels in Spain accomodate more than 4 people,we booked this apartment not knowing what to expect, we are not dissappointed but there are few minor problems that it would help if you knew,first, when we got there we did not know who to contact to let us in since they don't have front desk to give you the keys. So we ring the bell on every single floor until somebody responded and gave us the name of the housekeeper. We spend another 30 minutes waiting outside the building,waiting for this guy to come to give us the key. When we finally got in, we are very impressed with the condition of the apartment, almost new but needs a little dusting, it has your own living room and kitchen area. Another plus is the bakery downstairs it has delicious breads and cookies. If you are looking for accessibility, this place is close to everything but at night was a little loud, there are some nights that you can hear people yelling in the streets, but other than that, it's pretty cool, especially for yourger people who does not mind some noise at night.
