Nice hotel opposite Mar Bella beachPosted 5-Aug-2014
Nice hotel away from the bustle of the main town in Barcelona but easily accessible via two metro stations 10 mins away and also bus facilities. Right opposite Mar Bella beach which was perfect for a quick morning stroll! Hotel was clean and nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Pros: Value for money
Location: This hotel is about 15 mins walk from all the action or tourist places and centre of town. If you like quite beach, then this is the hotel for you.
Value for money. Check in and out is efficient. Buffet breakfast is good value for money €12 for proper proper breakfast.

Nice place. Will come back.Posted 27-May-2014
Pros: Very clean and staff is nice. Safe place.
Cons: Give better directions or provide maps for 1st time travelers.
Location: Go to the beach... eat at the restaurants next door. Note: The mall and metro is walking distance.. but it's really not that close to the hotel.
Nice place and staff. I was able to get an awesome view of the beach :). The only problem i had with the hotel was the thin walls. I could hear people talking outside my room and when my neighbor was using the bathroom (flushing the toilet or turning on the shower).

Satisfactory hotel with great staff.Posted 21-May-2014
Pros: All the staff were very nice and friendly. A female receptionist called Noa, made my stay a memorable one. She was extremely helpful.
Cons: Air conditioning wasn't very effective. There was a very unpleasant smell on my corridor. No tea tray in the room.
Location: The beach is opposite. Walking distance to metro, shopping mall, restaurants. Port Olympic also nearby with restaurants, bars etc by the marina.
This hotel is slightly away from the city centre, but has a good metro connection to the centre in 10-15mins. The tour bus stops on the side of the hotel, which also links to the centre via Port Olympic. Apart from the poor air-conditioning in the room at night, the hotel was reasonably comfortable and had a range of facilities e.g. Wi-fi, gym etc

Barcelo Hotel - Barcelona, SpainPosted 12-May-2014
Pros: Breakfast was probably the best thing my wife and I enjoyed about the hotel.
Cons: Parking garage cost was kind of high. Should not have to spend practically the same price per night as getting another hotel room just to park my car.
Location: Plenty of near by restaurants. Bus and S-Bahn/Train Station is just around the corners.
Hotel was located right along the coast/beach and provided a please experience all around. Room was clean, breakfast was wonderful, and having parking on the weekends for free on the street around the side of the hotel was a big help. Spa/Sauna/Hot Tub/Workout on site was also a big help and were very nice to relax in after a long day of exploring. Will be my first choice the next time I say in Barcelona.

Nice hotel...but we won't go back because...Posted 11-May-2014
We booked a room, paying extra for a sea view. There was a great sea view but unfortunately you could only see it while standing up! The window is too high so when sitting down or lying in bed you look straight into a solid wall. Pity they didn't make the windows a little bigger! Secondly, the room was far too warm at night. The aircon was ineffective so we woke up in a sweat during the night. We asked 3 times at reception if they could fix the aircon. 3 times they said they would...but it never changed. Thirdly, and worst of all was the 24/7 traffic noise from a major road in front of the hotel. We were on the 8th floor...and it was very intrusive, even with the window closed. The above spoiled what was otherwise a very acceptable hotel...but it means we wouldn't plan to go back.
