“A Modern Oasis - would definitely return”

The Alexandra is a beautiful, serene hotel with just the best service staff. They were very helpful. The Alexandra is located smack in the middle of Passeig de Gracia (high end shopping & Gaudi architecture) and Las Ramblas Catalunya (moderate to high end shopping and lovely outdoor restaurants & cafes). It is a starting off point to all the sights in Barcelona...you can actually get every where by foot!!!!

“Superb location for absorbing Barcelona”

Just back from a four day stay in the hotel - staff welcoming, room always maintained to the highest quality. Avoided the costly breakfast and used the many cafe's in the vicinity of the hotel. Accessable by foot from the main square of Barcelona, Playa de Catalunya, and also the Bus Touristo takes tourists to the many sights of Barcelona. Would heartily reccommend the hotel for tourist or Business user alike.

“Hotel Alexandria to be recommended”

Cannot praise the Hotel staff too highly. Nothing was too much trouble. Meals ordered on site, i.e. Breakfasts and occasional Evening Meals were of excellent quality. Room accomodation was quite satisfactory. Hotel Bar staff were helpful and obliging at all times. Cannot find anything to complain of, as all requirements were well met and surpassed.

“Central location”

check in was quick and easy, which was nice after traveling for about 22 hours. the hotel was nice and clean, bellhop friendly and helpful. the room was good size for the two of us. we had a room facing the street with a little balcony. yes, the street noise was a little loud but you are in THE BIG CITY. bed was comfy and bathroom good size. we didn't eat at the hotel but chose to grab something around the corner for breakfast. there is a small market across the street, great for small items and bottles of water. our room did have a fridge, that made it nice to store water and drinks. overall we would stay here again. the hotel is centrally located and you could walk to everything. we chose to walk and enjoy the sites of the city instead of riding the metro or bus.

“High Standard at a reasonable price”

The staff, the room we occupied, the location and every part of our stay was all we could have hoped for in a busines-style hotel. Both the wireless internet access and the elevators were undergoing maintenance when we were there, but that did not dim our positive impression of the hotel. We found the staff very helpful and the rooms well above average for a modestly priced hotel.

“Would use again no hesitation!”

The hotel is perfectly situated to take in the main hub of the city. On las ramblas but far enough up not to be too noisy. So many lovely bars and breKfast places within 10 min walk. Safe and clean neighbourhood and an abundance of cabs if feeling lazy.

very good hotel and very convenient to shops and underground, although 20 minute walk to La Ramblas.
