“Comfortable!!!”
Was extremely comfortable,huge bed,free wifi in the room,quiet inside and out unlike other hotels I have stayed at on the island. Decent breakfast to start the day,a good 90 minute walk from Bridgetown but as I enjoy the walk...not a problem.
“Just what it takes for a short stay in Barbados”
Old hotel but nice, clean and well maintained. Beach on the other side of the street. Friendly and helpful employees. Comfortable room. Good price-quality ratio.
“Sunbay a home away from home!”
My experience at Sunbay Hotel was great. The room was spacious and clean all amenity was in good working condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and I loved the surrounding of all the trees. My only disappointment was the breakfast I had to wait a very long time for my breakfast because of staff storage and I was really expecting more for "Continental Breakfast" eg. a fruit or cereal at least...hmmmm. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would definitely back soon!!
“vacation 2011”
For those of us that want a nice relaxing resting place after we spend the day exploring the island this place is perfect. Staff are friendly and inside pool area and its flowers were a beautiful site We really enjoyed our time there and will be back for sure.

“Wonderful Experience”
I returned for R&R after four years, having lived on the island for approx. 14 years. Aside from the hotel being a little removed from the main road, the establishment is a nice place to relax. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The dining room staff, in particular, bent over backwards to please the guests. I had a wonderful time and commend the employees for their special attention. I shall definitely return and recommend this hotel as good value for money.
“Sunbay Hôtel a la BARBADE”
Hôtel un peu en retrait de la ville, donc peu de magasins à disposition et moyen de transport uniquement par taxi. Pour ceux qui aiment la plage, eau d'un bleu profond, propre et juste devant l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner sommaire, "continental", repas frugal le midi et plus appétissant le soir, tous deux payants et routiniers. Il n'est pas recommandé de boire l'eau du robinet (prévoir achat d'eau). Chambre faite tous les jours, serviettes changées. En bref Hotel accessible pour ceux qui recherchent le repos et le calme mais il faut marchander le coût des taxis pour toutes sorties (villes, visites, restaurant et fast food). C'est le seul inconvénient à mes yeux.
“Très bon rapport qualité prix”
Hotel offrant de bonnes prestations, service tout inclus très pratique, piscine à deux profondeur très pratique pour les enfants, le service est un peu long mais on est en vacances, chambres spatieuses et propres, frigos très utiles dans la chambre.
“Had happier times”
Having spent a night at the sunbay hotel earlier in 2011 I though that I would return as i liked its location and the what it had to offer. Unfortunly my second time around was not up to my comfort or standard. While staying there I had serval messages that where not passed on to me till days later and as this was over the chrismas period it i though that there should have been more effort to be made to alert me to this fact. I was also told that some call where not being put though to my room or that there was no one answering at reception to leave a message with. I found that some of the staff where not as polite as they could have been to guests and i feel that this is one of the reason that i would opt to stay at another hotel the next time i return.
