“An extremely relaxing place to stay”
We stayed here for two nights before joining our crusie. We felt that it would be nice to have a few days in Barbados to rest after the long flight from Calgary. we were extremely happy with the room, the beach, and even though the restaurant was a bit pricey, the food was awesome and the view from the open deck was stunning. The staff were very helpful, and always had a friendly good morning or good afternoon when you encountered them. We would highly reccomend this hotel and would happily stay here again. There were only a few children and it definitly seems more like a couples hotel. The beds poolside were a nice touch as well.
“Beautiful location”
The Silver Point Hotel was a great find. The location was beautiful - right on the beach and the ocean was so warm it was a pleasure to swim there. The room was excellent and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the service was great. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to get away from the crowds and relax in a perfect setting.
“Loved Our Stay”
We loved this hotel. The service was wonderful and we felt very secure. The rooms are large and comfortable and the A/C in the bedrooms was very appreciated. We were in the building across the street and enjoyed the ocean view over tree and roof tops and the small pool below our deck. The beach is used primarily by kite surfers and there is good surf (safe for swimming) and a constant breeze. The beach is very clean and the sand is almost white and fine, unlike other beaches on the island. The restaurant served good food at island prices and the beds on the pool deck were a very nice touch, although they are taken quickly in the morning. The hotel is almost at the island's southern tip in a residential neighborhood so we were very happy to have a rental car to get access to other restaurants and beaches. There is bus service a short walk away and a couple of other restaurants on the same street although we did not try them. There is a small grocery store within a 10 - 15 minute walk. You can take surfing and kite surfing lessons on the beach.
“Relaxing & tranquil setting!”
A lovely hotel in a secluded part of Barbados!
“Pleasantly surprised!”
This hotel was fantastic. We only needed it for one night, since we were leaving for a cruise the following day. Funny, it was so nice we didn't want to leave the next morning. It's a gem. The beach is gorgeous. The hotel is modern and clean. The food is excellent. Sweet and friendly staff. It just seemed like they thought of everything here. Free internet access in the rooms too! I would go back for sure!
“Excellent Customer Service”
The rooms are beautiful and have ample space for at least 3 people. I was very impressed with the level of service by every single person working at the hotel from the receptionist to the bar staff and cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly and the food prices were the most reasonable we saw on the whole Island, not to mention delicious! Apart from the amazing experience, the staff were more than eager to direct us around island and provided us with great money saving tips and beautiful places to go.
“Beautiful beach”
We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful hotel. The restaurant staff were friendly & attentive. The beach was amazing!
“First time, lasting Memories”
This was my first vacation ever...and I was by myself...It felt like home away from home...Was so sad to leave.. The staff is so friendly and the relaxing feeling was felt threw out the hotel!! Can't wait to go back...Its going to be my go to place for vacation:)
“Secure and on the Beach”
We really enjoyed our one-night-stay at Silver Point Hotel. The food was delicious and we enjoyed sipping drinks on the deck watching the para-surfers, turtles and other activities.
“Had an awesome time in Barbados”
If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing hotel, this is the place to go. We stayed at the hotel for 1 week in an Oceanfront Studio. The view from the balcony was breathtaking every single day. There's only one restaurant in the villa so you will want to go out to eat in other places. The waves in the ocean were too rough for us to swim in but it was fun just getting hit by the waves. You can also walk along the beach to other beaches. In terms of activities, there's not really much you can do at the hotel except lie around on the beach and day beds (if you're not a surfer), but we still had an amazing time. You can always book activites elsewhere in Barbados. Keep in mind that this hotel is 20 minutes away from Bridgetown and St. Lawrence Gap. We would definitely come back to Silver Point Hotel when we are back in Barbados again simply for the beautiful view and the relaxing environment.
