The Dover was very clean and practical with kitchenettes at an excellent location for swimming in the waves. The staff were kind and helpful and anything required was attended to right away. I highly recommend this hotel and would go back.

“Highly recommended for a great little hotel”

The fridge in our room could not make ice - so staff should be check appliances periodically. Otherwise, Dover Beach Hotel is a lovely hotel and we would not hesitate to book it again. It is clean and friendly staff are always ready to answer questions/help book excursions. Hotel is in a great location for beaches and for restaurants which is good as little restaurant on site had limited choices.

“easy stay.”

My wife and i. Were looked after the moment we walked through the front doors. Helpful ,friendly People everywhere, All of our needs were looked after and more. Would highly reccomend this resort to everyone!!!!!!!

“Dover Beach vacation”

Reception area of the hotel was very impressive. manager and activities person were very friendly. Room was basic but convenient and hotel was close to beach,restaurants and bus stop. It is on the beach but hotel does not own beach frontage.

“Not a bad choice”

I reserved a garden view room so was pleasantly surprised when i received an ocean view room. The room is rated as a 2.5 star and it is what it is. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. My room was very clean when I arrived back to the hotel later in the day. I did not use the hotel's bar/restaurant because I have my favourite hangouts in the area. The nearby beaches were excellent and I divided my time between the one just next to the hotel and Dover Beach which is a 5minute walk away. I don't go to Barbados to spend time in my room...so minor irritants like the paint is a little chipped is no big deal...the key thing is to have a clean washroom and clean linens and pleasant/helpful staff (of course the customer's attitude plays a huge part in the staff's demeanour as well)...this hotel met my expectations and more. I would definitely return.

“Great Place to stay with a nice location”

I have stayed at this hotel on a couple other occasions. The staff is very helpful. It has a great location if you are looking for restaurants or entertainment. The beach is clean. The beds could use an update as far as comfort is concerned. Other than that it is a great place for the price. I give it 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

“nice no-frills hotel”

This is a nice no-frills hotel very well located. Nioe view of the sea. Close by to great restaurants (Harlequin). Try to dive with "The Dive Shop" at Carlile bay.

The view from the balcony was not that interesting but then I guessed that from your description .Everything else was quite acceptable.

nice clean basic room with kitchenette. I was on ground floor by pool. Internet sucked because so many people using it and weak signal at times...need to have lounges on beach with umbrella would be nice...great locaton on st lawrence gap strip. On beach...The staff were extremely nice...they went out of their way to help me. I would go back again for 2 weeks rather than one...
