“Amazing deal, best location, crystal clear water right at your steps”
I sent my parents to this hotel solely based on the reviews - my Mom said that next time we will definitely stay at this place, as it has best access to water, and needless to say very affordable rates. You won't be mistaken!
“Very good hotel”
Very comfortable and nice hotel. Would return.
“A fantastic find”
We found Butterfly Beach on the web and can't believe how lucky we were! It's a lovely place, very friendly and just steps from a white sand beach with crystal clear waters. There's easy access by the reggae buses (which have to be done!) to Oistins, St Lawrence Gap, Rockley Beach etc - but you could stay in the hotel for a quiet break and be perfectly happy. It's not five star luxury, but the rooms are clean, friendly and have everything you need. The pool is clean and has plenty of sunlongers, plus two sun decks. And happy hour means great cocktails are even cheaper than usual. Enjoy! We did.
“would return to butterfly beach”
We loved this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice little balcony. It was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. (it had a remote!) The kitchenette could use some updating however: there was no microwave or oven, only a cooktop. WE ate at restaurants in the area, and kept saying: "the food at the hotel restaurant is better than this, and cheaper". We would definitely go back. The hotel had a homey, relaxing feel to it. Loved the lady in the giftshop. She would take our books we had read and we could exchange them for others. Nice little (free) lending library! THe neighboring area was nice, but watch where you walk! There are narrow sidewalks, or none at all, and if you walk after dark, it's a little dangerous walking with the fast traffic!
“Excellent”
Excellent.
“Cant wait to go back”
It was everything we expected we'll definatly be returning next year. Clean hotel, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
“Lovely restful holiday”
The hotel was lovely- not the height of luxury, but comfortable, clean and good value for money with plenty of sunloungers and a nice pool. It was right on the beach although the sea around the south coast is rougher than on the West coast so not so attractive for swimming. The breakfast was very expensive with limited choice so we didn't have it after the first day, but we had a kitchenette in the room, so easy to self cater. Supermarket within walking distance, plus a great beach cafe. The hotel is on the local bus route to Bridgetown and St Lawrence Gap (which has loads of lovely restaurants) and the buses were very frequent. All in all a great place to stay, although if you like swimming in a calm sea, the West coast would be better.
“would book two more weeks right now if I had more money saved”
excellent hotel to stay when in Barbados close to the fish fry, friday is the best time to go,also bus service very convenient, take it from me as Iam a bus driver myself, could go around the Island by bus service, price is reasonable too
“We are planning to go back in 2012”
On a scale of 1 to 10 our Vacation at the Butterfly Beach Hotel was a 9!!!!!! Can't beat that!!!!!
“I'll definitely stay in that hotel on my next visit in Barbados”
I would recomend Butterfly Beach Hotel with all my pleasure to all thay may think to visit Barbados.Just only with few words I would say the following: Great location of the hotel to access beach, stores, bars, restaurants,as well as it is very closed to the airport. Clean, confortable, with lots of facilities as well as free internet in avery room plus free internet access in the loby. Only staff could be more pleasant (just some of them) but that's ok generally I was absolutely satisfied with my stay there. Therefore I would recomend it with no doubt.
