“ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I'VE EVER STAYED”
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I'VE EVER STAYED. IT WAS A LOVELY, COMFORTABLE ROOM, LARGE AND SPACIOUS. THEY HAD 2 BEAUTIFUL POOLS AND A WORKOUT ROOM. THE RESTAURANT WAS GREAT FOR BREAKFAST AND DINNER. THE LOUNGE HAD A PIANO PLANER EVERY EVENING AND WE ENJOYED SOME WINE AND WONDERFUL SNACKS WHILE WE LISTENED TO THE MUSIC. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND GAVE US LOTS OF IDEAS ABOUT WHAT TO DO. WHAT MORE COULD A GUEST WANT.

The bed was plush! Bar Harbor is beautiful! Price was waaaaaay too pricey. I thought when it said "view of the harbor" they meant "view of the harbor"

Bluenose is my favorite place in Bar Harbor. Great location and Outstanding views. Comfortable and clean when I return to Bar Harbor again this is the place that I will stay.

The room, 239, was spacious, with two queens and large bathroom area, deck with panoramic view of bay. Two kids and wife liked it. Simple, but classic traditional interior styling. Great location. Minutes from downtown and from Acadia National Park. Someday, would return without doubt.

Bluenose Inn was a great place to stay in Bar Harbor.....very lovely room with a great view of the water ( even though it was a bit distant)...close enough to town and very close to arcadia, which is where we were going to photograph daily.....we highly recommend this place.

A delightful hotel with a fantastic staff and a nightly piano player who play heavenly sounding music.
“Beautiful View/Great Location - will stay here again”
The hotel is located a couple miles from downtown Bar Harbor. It sits up on a hill and has a fantastic view of the harbor/ocean. There is plenty of parking on site. Our oom was very nice, with 2 armchairs, desk, TV in an armoire, king-sized bed. Everything was very clean and the room was serviced early in the day. We came back to the room in the early/mid afternoon several times and found the bed made, fresh towels, etc. We also enjoyed the lounge, where a fantastic pianist played each evening. We also visited the restaurant several times, for both breakfast and dinner (they are not open for lunch). The food was excellent; dinner entrees were especially good. We would definitely stay here again!
