A very good stay! Definitely recommend it. Close to the gondola and the shops. Staff is very helpful. Very spacious room. Food is very good for half board option. The hotel falicities are pristine.

This is an excellent hotel for its money-central location for everything-5 mins to Gondola, clean and warm rooms-housekeeping every day-we did half board which the food was good(we never expect fine dining in HB-but good varied choice) the only thing I would say is that the breakfast could be a little earlier 7am rather than 7.30am as it leaves very little time to eat before the Gondola opens at 8….but this wouldn’t stop me from staying here again-all in all a very good.

Check in staff really friendly. We had the luxury studio room which was very nice, very alpine feel to it - very spacious! Breakfast was ok, can be approved. Dinner was also ok, could have done with the food being warmer. Spa needs updating. However, overall experience was very pleasant. Very convenient location to the gondola.

overall stay was dissapointing
overall stay was dissapointing regarding the expectations I had while watching the hotel's profile. I got my room about an hour after arrival (it was early check-in), but the romm contained NO TABLE to eat on or work on. The room was VERY dirty, and they did not supply the TA morning breakfast (it was under COVID restriction, so the guests need to eat it the room by early TA reservation from the hotel's restaorant. Since ther was no regular table in the room, you needed to eat sitting on the floor, as if you're in Japan...). The next day, after being very angry, they swiched my room to much better clean one, and organaized a plate of fruits, and allowed me to use the safe box without additional costs. later I asked for late check-out and was agreed, but then, a day before suddenly the whole hote was "fully booked" and I had to leave the room and to prepare my self after a day of ski in the showers of the spa, which were also dissapoiting. The Gym is ultra-old fashion, and the food at dinner was so bad I skipped it and went to eat out side. If you reserve a room here, do not waste on HB, do only B&B. So to summerize: the staff is nice and willing to assist, but the place itself and my overall experience were not so good, and probably skip this place next time should I return to Bansko.

An excellent hotel with consistently high standards. The staff are polite, friendly and enthusiastic. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. The restaurant is vibrant and the food is splendid, always of a high quality. I cannot fault Casa Karina Hôtel.

It was only one problem with check-in. We came to the hotel early, but we were not allowed to make the check-in. We returned at 2 pm and then there was a really big queue of people

Casa Karina did not disappoint us; it was a short walk to the Gondola, swimming pool/spa area was lovely and relaxing, staff were friendlier than whole of Bansko. Our room was spacious, temperature comfortable, with a powerful shower. Lack of wifi in the room did not bother us as it was very good in the loby. Food especially the main dishes could have been a little more creative. Short length of shower curtain in our room meant we couldnt stop water flooding into bathroom. Just small issues for excellent value. We certainly enjoyed our stay at Casa Karina and would stay there again.

Wir waren das 2.Mal im Casa Karina. Es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Große Zimmer, gute Betten, schöner Spa, nettes Personal und das Essen war wieder lecker. Aber... leider nicht warm genug. Schade. Dafür eine große Auswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The hotel and the receptionist was fine but the cleaners are not doing their job at all. In 8 days they didn’t changed the beddings at all, apart the towels which were changed daily, not cleaning anything and I had to ask them to hover the room and they didn’t look very happy. If I was staying 2,3 days I will understand but after 3 days maximum the room should be cleaned properly including changing the beddings. Regarding heating- there was only one small radiator in a studio which it wasn’t enough to warm up the room and specially near the window where was the sofa you could feel the cold from the window. Regarding Food- The food was the same every day to dry and not tasty. The soups were not warm, the tea selection wasn’t daily filled up. At the New Year Party we have been charged for 2 children 6and 7years old €90 and for what??? All the dishes were terrible. You could see that nearly all the other guests didn’t touch them. Overall we pay a lot for a four stars hotel but we get services for a budget hotel. We feel the they didn’t respect our money which we paid them there especially when you stay more than 2,3 days.

I been there with friend for a ski vacation, the room was just fine for two people ... the beds was "low cost" single beds, at the shower the bath was installed too high relative to the douche .. not so comfortable easy for tall people. the food ( breakfast and dinner ) were great.

Casa Karina was a nice, modern hotel to stay in. Amazing value for money with half board booking. Our room was big enough, the bathroom was a comfortable size. The beds weren't particularly comfortable and the bottom sheet was too small for the bed but it made do for the cost we paid. One the first few days I moved some of the furniture to fit the room being a twin rather than a double (2 beds pushed together). The amount of dust and dirt showed the room required a deep clean. I presumed this would have been done by the cleaners but I took until the 4th day when we put the please clean the room sign on the door when it was actually cleaned. The other times, the beds were made and the towels were changed. We had the same sheets for all 7 nights. I didn't seem clear as to whether we could drink the water, the receptionist said yes and yet they wouldn't give us water with dinner saying it wasn't good. We ended up buying water for the whole week. The food has some interesting choices, with some mornings there being a toaster and not on others. Dinner had a great salad selection, but left out pasta with bolognese next to it which wasn't under the heat? Didn't really understand that. The staff didn't seem particularly happy to be there, more attempting to try and catch you for taking food out of the food area? The 15mins free massage which comes with the booking was OK but not amazing, after your free massage you're then met with a hard sell. I don't think I would book again

A lovely place!
We had a great time at Casa Karina and we would definitely come back! The hotel is 5 mins walk to the Gondola. Perfect for skiers! The staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was very nice, varied and very reasonable price. The apartment was big and very warm,with a beautiful view over the mountains. The room had a big balcony with a table and two chairs. It needs some improvements(the shelf in the bathroom was not fixed properly and you couldn't use it). There was a lot of storage space in both rooms. Even though the room had a kitchenette (the oven, the extractor fan, the hob were brand new) there was no crockery or cutlery. But I am sure that if we have asked for some, they would have been provided. There was a kettle and 2 cups, tea and coffee provided. Every day, they would replenish 2 bottles of water , the tea and the coffee. The towels were changed every day. The bed sheet were changed twice in 9 days. The television was an old big box model and didn't have all the channels other rooms had. There is a pool, a sauna and a steam bath. The tiles around the pool, when wet, were very slippery. Two children fell while walking. The ladders into the pool were not secured. The area around the sauna and steam room was very wet and even though it was a sign saying the it us slippery when wet, it was dangerous to walk on. There was a children play room and an animator. The conclusion,small things need improvement, but we would definitely go back

The hotel is a good budget hotel with no especial frills but good for those who want easy access to Bansko and for those skiing the gondola is only a short walk away. The spa staff were very helpful.

Great group skiing holiday!
We travelled in a group of 13 people for a weekend of skiing. We took three, 2 bed apartments and a single studio apartment. We were all pleasantly surprised with the standard of the apartments, they were clean, modern and fairly spacious. The rooms included breakfast and dinner which was a buffet. The quality of the food was ok, nothing special, but it did the job! They have spa facilities which were good, steam room, sauna and pool that helped with the recovery after a day of skiing! In terms of location, it was pretty well situated with it being a mere 5 mins walk to the main gondola. There are bars, restaurants and shops nearby too. I strongly recommend using the ski hire facilities of the hotel, it is perfectly situated next to the hotel and it's ski storage room. It is cheap and the two guys there were fantastic, they even gave us a drink when returning the skis!

Nice hotel, central location to gondola lift.
Great apartment, but it smelt of cigarette smoke for a few days, had to keep windows open to neutralise! Obviously guests were smoking in the room before us! Lounge settee was dirty and stained, turned the cushions around so it was then nice and clean. Nice touch that small bottles of water were left in the room everyday to put in your rucksack for the slopes. On the whole, a great hotel with welcoming staff!

The location is good, parking facilities in the basement (extra charge), pool and sauna ok, too crowded at breakfast and dinner and food not great. Skiing area is nice but the waiting for the gondola to go up the mountain is at least 1,5 hrs between 8 am - 11.30 am (not enough capacity during popular skiing times such as February).

Nice hotel but not a 4 star one. Enough clean with everyday towels change. Free towels for the pool and spa. The spa facilities just ok. Good WiFi only in the ground floor but no conection in the 4th floor. The breakfast was satisfied but more options are needed.

Great price for the value!
It is the best value for money! They have a very friendly staff. The service was great with a smile always! Food for the breakfast and the dinner was very good! The location is quite nice to access the lifts and the town. I highly recommend what they offer before checking any other place in Bansko.

Good location, cheap hotel.
Great location close to everything. Asked for another pillow (only gave 1 each) , but had to ask again second day. Food was very average and often cold / Luke warm, but for the price wasn't expecting much! So cheap to eat out we did a few nights. Loved Bansko in general planning another trip and trying another hotel! Although would go back to casa Karina :) Some staff happier than others but all in all a good stay!

Convenient clean modern hotel with superb staff.
Negatives ? 1. The location is not ski in /ski out. It is a five minute walk to the gondola station, which can be very busy at peak times. Our party of nine used a hotel minibus service - well worth it. 2. The Hoyle food is attractively presented but taste was generally a little bland for us. Positives. Many ! Staff were excellent. Helpful, willing and knowledgeable. The ski hire shop within the complex was the best i have ever experienced. The two staff were helpful and efficient - even assisting with putting on and taking off your boots ! And their goodwill drinks were very welcome. Hotel was clean and adequately appointed. Transfers were arranged for us efficently and at sensible prices.

The room was very comfortable and specius.
The apartment was comfortable and specius. Breakfast was very good too. Hotel Casa Karina is at the good position in Bansko and everything, including the access to gondola lift, is reachable by foot. Public spaces in hotel are well designed with good Internet access.
