the hotel was very clean, very comfortable and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I will definitely stay at the Super 8 Bangor again

“Shopping trip”

Nice hotel, we were there shopping so did not stay in our room for a long time. The staff is nice and helpful, the hotel looks a little old, but very clean and everything works. We will be back.

The only disappointing thing about the hotel is no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. It is nice to relax in the evening after a long day of shopping with a cold beverage or a snack. It is quite close to train tracks and airport. Try to stay at front of hotel and not the back. Quite noisey

“Well kept hotel”

Hotel was really clean which is a must as far as I am concerned. Staff were quite friendly and believe they would be quite helpful if asked. 24 hr tea & coffee was a big asset. The biggest thing I missed was a small fridge in the room. We would rather have our pop & water in a fridge than use the ice bucket. This may be an older hotel but as long as it is clean and confy beds is all thats needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone not looking for extra perks.

“Super 8 black Friday shoppers”

The hotel was fantastic for the great price. I was expecting a complete dive when I seen the low price. The staff is absolutely wonderful, especially the front desk guy that moved from NY to live a simpler life.

The hotel was a great value and offered a CAA discount, plus a breakfast was included. The employees were very friendly and informative. The building shows its age, but is well maintained, clean & tidy. It's a bit of a drive to the malls, but very handy to the airport. I recommend it for those on a budget who want cleaniness with quality service, but don't require fancy surroundings. I'll be back.

You can't beat this place for the price. There was complimentary breakfast, wifi, and the staff was very helpful. In particular, I had a package mailed to me there and while I was there the staff couldn't find it. I returned home only to discover it had, in fact been delivered and they had it. A woman at Super8 mailed it to me in Canada at the hotel's expense. I wouldn't necessarily have expected that for a budget motel chain. I'll stay there again when I'm in Bangor.
