“Good choice for inexpensive lodging.”

Booked online after reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised at the good value offered here. Friendly staff, clean room and fixtures was all I was expecting. Immediately made a reservation for the return leg of my trip and was happy to find the same conditions a week later. Consistency counts-highly recommended for someone just looking for a basic accomodation at a reasonable price.

Overall the two nights I stayed were fine. I was dissapointed that I couldn't get a small tube of toothpaste at the front desk, as I had forgotten mine. Had to go to the store at 11:30pm. The room was clean and tidy however, the beds were extremely firm. The pillows were pretty firm also, so my husband ended up with a very sore back. The breakfast and 24 hour coffee was good and the assortment was nice. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I would stay at this Super 8 again.

My wife and I stayed at the Super 8 on the 4th and 5th of August 2010. Had a great time in Bangor, shoping and dinning. We would recommend the Motel 8... We payed more elsewhere for less quality....

“Inexpensive option that is actually totally fine.”

This was the cheapest option in the Bangor area, so I was a little leary of what I would be getting - but it was totally fine. Generous sized room that was clean and neat, with everything you'ld expect. Not a new structure, so some things, like the baby-blue bathtub, look dated... but who cares? Free breakfast (that was fine, also) makes it particularly a good deal, and saves you some time over going out to eat. You can't easily walk to anything from this hotel. The only thing that was a little odd was the color of the water in the tub and sink - very rusty looking. I chose not to drink it.

With a daughter in a nearby university, we were searching for a CLEAN, reasonable, hotel. We found this with this motel. The room was nice, nothing fancy, CLEAN and they had a free contential breakfast included in the price, which was fine. The bathrooms are small, but functional. great water pressure in the shower, nice and CLEAN. as far as location, we were 5 minutes from the college. this motel is minutes from everything.. all in all, if you are looking for a average hotel, that is clean and taken care of, at a reasonable price, then this motel will work for you...it really is just an average motel....no glitz, .......oh, dunkin donuts is 3 bldgs away!!! We will be booking again for future visits!

It was a fine hotel. we would go back next time we visit Bangor
