“My first stay at the D'MA Pavilion left me very impressed!”

I stayed at the D'MA Pavilion hotel in Bangkok, in April 2007 and it was the first time I had stayed there. The feeling is of a friendly and welcoming place to stay, especially for a weary traveller who has just arrived in BKK. I had chosen the "Superior" room and the room was a good size, clean and with a nice bathroom. Although breakfast was apparently not included in the booking, I was given vouchers for each day's breakfast and the breakfast buffet was very good. Busy and cosmopolitan but good! Laundry and room service meals were excellent and all staff polite, courteous and efficient. Overall, my stay at the D'MA Pavilion was very enjoyable and I will definitely consider staying there again. I stayed in Bangkok earlier in the year, at another hotel not far from the D'MA, which sadly proved to be inferior in every way, to the D'MA Pavilion. I can certainly recommend the D'MA Pavilion to other travellers! Thanks & best wishes, Robin.

“a great hotel”

I picked up a deal for this hotel on Expedia for the executive floor with one night free. I have stayed in man many mid range hotels in Bangkok and this was by far the most comfertable and relaxed I have been. There service was good and friendly. The only slight downside is the short walk to the main road (Petchburi Road) can get a bit tiresome once you have seen everything with no pavements as such and plenty of cars and bikes.

“Good Value”

The D'MA hotel (pronounced deema) is centrally located. The hotel staff is always avaialable to assist in getting a taxi to wherever you want to go. There's an ATM across the street at a 7-11. The markets and nightlife are a short taxi ride away. The surrounding area is nothing great but the hotel is very nice and I would stay there again.

“going again in 2 years. went 2 years ago. top quality”

all the staff were very helpful. food was amazing. air conditioning was a blessing, and did not break down as in some hotels. respect to the managers, who incidentally, were frequently asking if everything was fine. the pool and gym were spotless, and pool and gym staff were informative and attentive.

“bien placé et bon rapport qualité prix”

Nous séjournons régulièrement au Ramada Dma de Bangkok. Cet hôtel offre un rapport qualité prix trés correct. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, toujours trés propres. Elles offrent une vue magnifique sur BKK (pour les "deluxe" seulement , attention les standarts sont à éviter car elles donnent sur un mur). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le personnel est courtois et professionel. La piscine au 8eme étage permet de se détendre aprés une journée de visite. Un seul petit reproche que TV5 ne soit pas proposée parmi les chaines TV disponibles. L'hotel est situé dans un quartier populaire sympathique et trés représentatif de la vie à Bangkok. Les centres commerciaux et le métro sont accessibles à pied.

“An excellant place to stay”

I chose this hotel based on reviews from other guests and I am glad I did. I stayed here with my wife and two children and had a two room family suite which was very comfortable and spacious (effectively three standard rooms linked together at the end of a corridor) and very clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly, which went to make our stay even more pleasant. The hotel facilities (swimming pool, restaurant etc) were all well maintained and a pleasure to use. The closest shopping centre (Patunam)was a short walk away (20 minutes) through the narrow streets which is not a problem and allows you to see the surrounding stores en route, or if you don't want to walk there are plenty of Tuk Tuks (or taxis) around. And nobody can go to Bangkok without taking a Tuk Tuk at least once. Overall a very nice hotel and value for money.
