“Great hotel, very highly recomended.”
Great hotel, very highly recommended. near shopping area and sukhamvit road. Staff went out of their way to help with any request. the rooms are new and highly maintained – extremely comfortable bed. will certainly go back – one of the best in Bangkok.
“Great Hotel at Reasonable Price”
Great Hotel at a very good price. The staff was most curteous, and the room was quite spacious. Ordered room service and that was great as well. I also used the spa and was very pleased with the serivce.
“The new "Best Hotel in Bangkok"”
Wow, after a two night stay at the Bangkok Royal Orchid the jacked our room rate up by almost 100%. We jumped on Expedia and found the new Hansar property. They matched our original Sheraton Royal Orchid rate and we made the move. The property and service were incredible. I was traveling with my two older children age 20 and 23. The gave us suites right next to each other and treated us like royalty. The room and service were easily worth four times the price. My daughter couldn't believe how everyone at the property seemed to know her name after the first day. I have stayed in five star properties in many parts of the world and I can honestly say that overall the hotel rates in the top five. We stayed for three nights and then traveled Thailand for a week or so and returned to the Hansar for our last evening. We were greeted by name and given our same type suites next to each other like we had never left. Really everything was perfect. The property is located directly behind the Bangkok Four Seasons and certainly belongs in the same neighborhood. Thanks, Jim N
“Fantastic accomodation but not your typical 5 Star”
This is a fantastic Hotel with outstanding room facilities, service and guest facilites. It is however away from the madding crowds which in many ways is great. It is like an Oasis in the desert but if you want to feel the pulse of Bangkok it is probably better staying at the Westin or Sheraton Grande in Sukhumvit. The Hotel is close to the Sky train which helps and you can get around quite well with this in mind. In house retuarants are limited and expensive, Eve being the pick but be prepared for a nice bill which matches those in Sydney Hat restaurants. Overall I have no hesitiation in recommending the Hansar. It is the best room I have stayed in anywhere.
“Excellent service”
We stayed at the Hansar for two nights last month - as it turned out we ended up staying three nights due to my wife going down with food poisoning. The hotel staff were very accommodating in terms of extending our stay, sending my wife flowers to our room and permitting a late check out. Room service was very good and of a high standard for a reasonable price, whilst the bar downstairs makes good cocktails. Once they have the rooftop bar open it should be even better. We highly recommend this hotel, the only criticism is it could be better signposted as it is down a little sideroad - there should be an english and thai map on their website.
“Fantastic, We will be staying there again and again. great beds.”
From the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we left the Hansar was fantastic. The beds were super, the bathroom roomy and everything you could want. The office well apointed combined in the living area. The staff were excellent Santi, Dao,Sanjar, Bond. The food prepared by Sanjar was to die for lunch and dinner. The hotel is located close to major shopping within easy walk. The spa and pool area was great with happy hour every afternoon. Ask for the room Vertigo an amazing room. If you have a family the Loft room is for you. We are planing to stay again you wont be disapointed.
“As good as it gets”
As a business traveller I am always ready to leave one place and move onto the next, but the Hansar hotel was a difficult hotel to bid farewell. I will certainly use it as my hotel of choice on future visits to Bangkok. It is well positioned, being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, but still within walking distance of everything you might need and well positioned for the BTS transport system. The staff were professional, attentive and went the extra mile. Well done Hansar!
“Wonderful stay”
A fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. So close to the sky train really convenient for getting around the city. A luxurious hotel but not stuffy, really friendly and helpful staff would definitely stay here again.
“Great attention to detail”
We chose the Hansar as a treat for our first anniversary and you do get quite a lot of luxury for your money. We selected one of the cheapest rooms and even this had a more than adequate kitchenette and office area which could be isolated from the rest of the suite by a sliding door. One very minor complaint in this area - we couldn't find the switch for the main light (we could, of course, have asked!). The minibar contained a few snacks and drinks, including beer, which were included in the price of the room. These could be replenished on request. The hotel staff were very eager to please. The bedroom was spacious and made you feel cosetted. The bathroom was large and tastefully designed with separate bath and shower and wardrobe space opposite the double basins. This again, was separated from the bedroom/living room by a sliding door. Breakfast was the best I've had anywhere in the world with amazing choice and quality.
“Hansar Bangkok is a fabulous hotel!”
DH and I stayed at Hansar Bangkok for four nights from 19/04/2011 to 23/04/2011. It was fabulous. From the minute that you were greeted by the porters until we'd checked out, it was smiles, smiles and smiles. Every staff there was gracious and professional. We had booked the Edge Suite and it suited us to a T. If I can make a constructive criticism was that the bathroom lacked a exhaust fan so if you like your showers steamy then you'll get foggy bathroom. But we don't sleep in the bathroom so it didn't really bother us. It would be great also if Hansar were to partner up with a big name toiletry brand for their soaps, shampoos and conditioners. I personally think Molton Brown will go well with this hotel. Thank you Hansar Bangkok for making our first visit to Bangkok a memorable one!
