“Great budget-friendly hotel”

The hotel has a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Bangkok's mass transit, and a 15 minute walk to the city's major shopping areas. Staff are friendly and helpful; recreational facilities are good, and the free breakfast is not bad. These are not just rooms, but small apartments with refrigerator, stove and dining area. Plus you get widescreen TV with DVD player and free DVD rentals. A good, budget-friendly place to stay in Bangkok. Also, if you take the train from the airport you can switch to the Sky Train and go directly to this hotel. No taxis!

“Gem”

This hotel was super close to the trains, and it turns out Bangkok is very easy to get around. Taxis are cheap, but ask for a meter. We negotiated a priced of about 400-500 baht for taxi to airport. WE LOVED THE FLOWER MARKET! A lot of people including cabs will tell you certain markets are closed for holidays. This is ridiculous. Get out of those cabs. The Grande Palace was incredible. Wanted to get to floating market... heard it was amazing.

“Definately one to use in Bangkok”

This hotel is perfectly located. Take the City Express Airport train,catch a sky train just one stop and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. The hotel is within 20 minutes walk of 3 of the biggest shopping malls in Bangkok all of which have excellent eating facilities. The rooms are large and comfortably air conditioned. The staff are helpful, polite, efficient and speak English to various levels. The coffee shop, while not open 24 hours, provides both Western and Eastern style food to a high quality and the food and the hotel are, in my opinion, very good value for a stay in Bangkok.

“Great convient location and excellent value for the money.”

We ended up being extremely pleased with our stay here- We would have happily stayed much longer. We were initially concerned when our taxi dropped us off late at night by way of a small back alley- but inside was fantastic. We stayed in the 2 room family suite- large, roomy, and included large sitting area with couch, full kitchen and dining room! Small apartment really. 5 minutes to water taxi (9 bth to Golden Mount Wat) or railway, close to major shopping mall. 40 minutes from airport by taxi- about 250 bth ride. Pool was great- large. Excellent breakfast with plenty choices and fresh fruit (buffet). Large gym. Staff helpful and spoke passable English. We would definitely stay here again!

“Just a FINE place to stay!!!”

An apartment-type hotel. Wonderful. Neat. clean, great bed, bathroom and kitchen. Superb location, walking distance of ~8 minutes to monster shopping malls. Next to rail system as well. I have NO complaints at all.......none. Very pleased with great rates, staff, simple but adequate breakfast, pool and great location. 7/11 right next door for basic needs. If you really want a great value and a perfectly FINE hotel.....stay here!

“Clean and comfortable. Great for the price!”

We spent three lovely nights at the Evergreen Palace. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. The surrounding area isn't great but it's right next to the Skytrain so getting around Bangkok is easy. The hotel restaurant cooks good Thai food and the buffet breakfast is great!

“Great location at a reasonable price”

Location would be the biggest draw for this hotel. You're literally 2 minutes away from the Ratchethewi station. The hotel is also a few minutes away from the Asia Hotel (where you can catch a nightly show of the famed Calypso Ladyboys). You're also two stations away from shopping Mecca MBK. The only drawback is that not a lot of drivers are familiar with the hotel's location. One of my tours was cancelled because the driver could nOt find our hotel. I suggest you look online for the hotel's translated thai name and keep a copy or two. Trust me, this will come in handy since most Thai drivers have difficulty reading English. Otherwise, great hotel. Great service. Free wifi and breakfast. A great value for your money.

“Clean, comfortable, and great location”

My wife and I love this hotel. Though it is called a service apartment, it is mainly a hotel and run like a hotel. The pool area is beautiful and well kept. The gym is really nice with health club quality equipment. Breakfast buffet was great which I really didn't expect at all. The rooms are newly renovated so everything is really great. The cleaning service was also great as our room was attended to every day in a very timely fashion. There is a 7/11 right outside the hotel which is very convenient. The location is also perfect. A five minute walk to the skytrain, 5-10 minute walk to all the Siam malls (MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Paragon). Overall, our experience was great. We visit Thailand every year and Evergreen is now our go to hotel in Bangkok.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Hotel is down a dark alley but a lot less noise than being on main road. Greeted with friendly and very helpful doorman who could not do enough for us the whole time we were there. We had booked a deluxe suite and on arrival found we had been upgraded to a junior suite on 15th floor!. Apartment is not 5 star luxury would rate 3 star but tastefully decorated, very comfortable and is fully self contained if you wish to cook yourself, which is not necessary as hotel has cafe/restaurant on 8th floor which serves good priced tasty food. Free internet is also available. Breakfast was included in our cost and the variety of fresh fruit and hot and cold dishes was excellent, although it is difficult to keep bain marie food always hot. The gym is well equipped with machines and there is a large roof top pool to cool off in. My husband and I both had a 1 hr thai massage which was very good and available in the hotel spa room at a very cheap rate. Hotel is close to good shopping at MBK and Siam Discovery centre only 10 minute walk and close to nearest mrt and skytrain if going to the airport. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
