I checked out of this hotel two nights early, even though they were non-refundable, because I was so unhappy with the experience.
My room had no windows, making it feel dark and cramped.
The hotel location was far away from any public transport, which isn't the hotel's fault, but it meant that I spent a lot of time and money travelling to and from the hotel. This reduced the amount of time I could spend exploring Bangkok.
When I arrived they couldn't find the booking, and I ended up having to wait 20 minutes while they were looking.
Most staff spoke no English and were unfriendly. My hair is dyed blue, and the first thing I was told on arrival was "if your hair stains the sheets, you will pay for it." The "list of breakage costs" prominently displayed in the room just added to this feeling of mistrust.
If you want a nice hotel experience, I cannot recommend this one. For a hostel it may be fine, but hotels.com claims this is a 3-star hotel and it certainly did not feel like one.
