“Great Hotel - fantastic service”

Our room was massive :) it had this big TV and a stereo system, big bathroom! Very nice modern decor... The only minus was water pump? boiler ? making a bit of noise. Staff in the hotel were very helpful, always smiling and keen to help. Free tuk tuk to main road was also good. Although we only stayed 1 night as a stopover before our flight home it was very good and relaxing. I will recommend it to anyoneone going to Bangkok.

“Excellent value!”

Everyone had such great things to say about this hotel that we thought we'd try our luck! It was a great choice for us with a convenient location, great rooms and wonderful service, what wasn't to like! The breakfast buffet was a nice bonus and we'd stay here again and recommend it to other as well.

“Aspen Suites”

The Aspen Suites has large, clean, comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpfull and service oriented. The breakfast buffet was good, although somewhat different than I was accustomed to. I ordered a hard cooked fried egg and assembled a sandwich on wheat toast. The next day, a fried egg sandwich appeared moments after I sat down to breakfast. Our waitress had remembered and prepared it for me without being asked. A nice touch. I cannot say enough about the helpfull friendly staff. The bad stuff. The internet service was terrible! At times so slow as to be useless. It did not matter if it was the hardwired connection in the room , or the wireless in the lobby, both were bad. The pool looked as if it needed to be cleaned the entire time I was there. Specifically there was alge at the waterline that needed to be removed. I understand this is the tropics and alge is common but this was there the entire time and I was there for 12 nights. I did not mention this to the staff while I was there, I suspect if i had it would have been cleaned promptly.

“For people ages 18-35 The best hotel and Location !!!!!!!!”

I've traveled all over the world. The customer service in Thailand is by far my favorite over any other culture. Very friendly, polite, hard working, respectful, peaceful people that go out of there way to make sure you are happy. This is exactly the experience I had while Staying at Aspen Suites. My girlfriend and I stayed here 5 nights. Throughout my 3 week vacation throughout Asia I stayed in 3 other hotels that were more expensive and came nowhere close to the comfort and satisfaction I experienced here. Location is in a fun area. Good food, Bars, plenty of entertainment. The train station has 2 stops which are both 5 mins walking. You can be anywhere you want in Bangkok within 20 mins. Great setup!

“Met all my expectations”

Only 10 mins. walk the skytrain. Nice, clean rooms. Internet,LCD TV and air conditioned. The pool is so homely. Can't say a bad thing about this accomodation. If I had a chance to go back to Bangkok this would be the place to stay again.

“Great Value”

Modern, quiet and clean with good level of service, we enjoyed our 3 night stay and returned for an extra night at end of our holiday. Great value for money. It's quite a walk to main road and Skytrain but once there, you have access to all that you could possibly need.

“Small hotel but big on service”

Arrived late at night and I was greeted with a friendly smile, quick service and a very nice room. I was on the top floor with a decent sized suite, an okay view of the city and a clean room with the basic amenities. First on the agenda was a shower which tended to leak all over the floor no matter how I tried to position the shower curtain. No matter, unpackked and walked a few minutes up the road and was in the middle of the action. Lots of bars, people and tuk tuks everywhere. A couple of drinks later and I walked back to the hotel room which is on a quiet street but still gave you a safe feeling walking at night. The hotel bed was king size and came with a fairly hard mattress complete with lumpy pilows. The bed was not bad just took a while to get used to the mattress. T.V. was decent with about 10 english channels and had one in the bedroom and the living room. Service was excellent from the maids, front desk right through to the tuk tuk driver and security. The only complaint I had was the pool, very small and shaded so this was definitely not the social spot, otherwise great value for the money. Never tried the food on the street as there were so many great restaurants at the top of the street and a couple of streets over. Lots of pubs with decent food, a grocery store at the top of the street to btring back some munchies for late night snacking and a nightcap or 2. If they have a special rate I would jump at the chance to go again.

“very impressed and will return on any visit to Bangkok”

Aspen Suites is on a quiet road just of the main road. Within easy walking distance of all the major shopping centres and markets. Very well maintained and staff friendly. Worth highlighting on a map the location of the suites for the taxi driver from the airport. Would certainly stay there again.

“Best in Bangkok!”

I noticed that when I booked Aspen Suites, it had a lot of positive reviews. I was familliar with the area of Bangkok and wanted to stay in that vicinity for access to the sky train and the Sukhumvit in general. I was thoroughly impress with every aspect of this Hotel. When I arrived the check in was friendly and efficient and they immediately upgraded my room for a "suite" with a living room, kitchen and separate bedroom. How good is that? Rooms were very large and very well maintained. The staff (all of them), were as friendly as I have ever experienced. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok. Location is great and staff are very friendly, helpful and have a very good grasp of the English language. 5 out of 5 stars.
