I first booked my stay at the Aravinda Living Home thinking I would use it as a base until I found a more permanent place to stay. 4 weeks later and I'm still there.
If you're looking for a luxury stay, maybe this isn't the place for you. However, if you're budget conscious, this is a great value. You get an AC that cools the room quickly, a big bed (though some people might find it unusually hard--I like it), a hot shower,a refrigerator, sink and microwave and a free bottle of water every day.
The location at first may seem far away from things, but I've discovered that all the local shops and food stalls along the way are a great way to live like the locals at a very inexpensive rate.
