“great experience!”
When we arrived there were a few problems ex: curtains would not open properly , someone was there within minutes and the problem was fixed. The room was very comfortable, the fireplace was wonderful, and our accomadation was backing the forest. We had constant visits from the deer in the area a mom and her babies stopped by daily, and put their noses up to the window and looked in. We will be going back to this place the next time in Banff. Loved it!
“A pleasant experience”
A very nice place.
“Great Weekend!”
Had a great time! Comfortable beds, fireplace, fully stocked kitchenette, pool and hot tub. And deer and squirrels looking in the windows. Does it get much better than that?
“One of Banff's Best”
This is an outstanding place to stay in Banff. Its just off the main banff ave (2 min drive) up tunnel mountain road so its a little quieter and more relaxing than right in town but still convenient to get to any part of the town. The resort itself was awesome with a pool, 2 hot tubs and a fitness area if you want. Great views and location. The room I stayed in was much bigger than I expected with some really nice features, double sinks, full whirlpool tub and a cool steam shower that acts either like your own steam room or regular shower or both at the same time. Had a huge king bed, sofa and fireplace. Only minor thing was the bed was super soft and plush but doesn't have the firm support I prefer but that's just for me and my back. Other than that was an awesome place and tremendous value, don't bother with places like the Fairmont Banff Springs wihich is tiny and way more overpriced, enjoy a place like this and spend the money you saved aorund town!
“Just Perfect”
It was a great home base to explore our surroundings from. Could see Mount Rundle out our window. Liked that it was off the main shopping area of Banff. Everyone very friendly. The hike up Tunnel Mountain was fun. The info center was huge in hooking us up with the best hiking, horseback riding and rafting. Almost can't go wrong with any of the restaurants but Saltlik was especially fancy and nice. Alot a good pubs too like the Banff Brewery Company or Rose and Crown. Johnston Canyon is a nice hike (take it early to avoid the crowds). Castle Lookout is more difficult but breathtaking when you hit the top.
“Great getaway”
I took my boyfriend to Tunnel Mountian Resort for a couple days and we were so impressed! We had the room with a kitchen in it. I was impressed that everything was really clean in the kitchen. The bathroom had been recently renovated and looked very nice. The living room was totally separate from the bedroom which was really nice. The hotel staff was all very friendly and helpful. I will totally go back again!
“Great Stay in Banff”
This hotel was great! It had great prices and was well worth it! Its about 2 minutes out of town and is really nice and quiet. We stayed in an executive suite and it was awesome!!! Will stay again in the future at this hotel
“Lovely resort.”
I would recommend the hotel....we had excellent accommodations complete with fireplace and kitchen amenities.
“Perfect Getaway”
We stayed in an Executive suite...the steam shower and Jaccuzi tub were both fabulous! The bed was amazingly comfortable. Great view, gas fireplace, binoculars in room...and only about 10mins to walk to downtown. One downfall was the parking...they don't guarantee you will have a spot infront of your unit but there is plenty of parking.
“Wish I could have stayed longer!”
I found everything to be fantastic, right from check-in till check out. The room was very clean, had special features like an electric fireplace, a steam shower, microwave, fridge, nice TV, and whirlpool tub right in the room. Awesome stay. I could't get in to the internet, though my friends in another room could. Not sure why and was too busy to find out.
