“Very cozy hotel!”

Fantastic view of the mountains (get mountain view room!). The rooms aren't huge, but we didn't mind. Most comfortable beds ever! It's not right on the main road in Banff, but only a two minute drive. If you like seclusion, this is the place to stay. Excellent staff.

“GREAT EXPERIENCE !!”

Hotel easy to find....close to downtown Banff (not walkable)....rooms quiet if facing the parking lot....other side faces highway, but has great views of mountains....there is a nice nature walk at hotel and happened to see a wolf on it! (He ran away after 10 seconds)....no pool, but has a hotub...overall pretty good !!

“Love this hotel”

Extremely clean. Very helpful staff. Location not in downtown Banff, but only take one minute to drive. Great view from the patio of the room. Overall very great hotel, definitely recommend to anyone.

“Quiet, comfortable, convenient, pretty setting”

Although the hotel is not within walking distance of the center, that works to its advantage in terms of escaping the "madding" crowds of the Banff tourist season. The hotel was rehabbed a few years ago, but retains the charm of the original design that included native materials and eco-friendly ideas. The two level hotel is small and cozy, and does not have an elevator. So if that is required, request a first level room with a patio. Otherwise, go the second level room that sleeps 4 with a view the woods above the non-intrusive parking area.

“recommneded. Fair price, comfortable rooms”

clean and nice rooms.coffee, tea, tv,ref, bath robes, towels.... all available. comfy bed. room with balcony will be nice if going on a nice day. close to downtown 5 min by car. may be 15min walk. my only regret is that on the website i had the choice between a smoking and non-smoking room and it turned out that all rooms are non-smoking. fair price to what u get. hot tub is availabe(outdoor). recommend it

“Good deal in Banff”

This was the best priced hotel we found in Banff during the high season. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The interior design of the hotel was unique and very appealing. This hotel is off by itself outside of Banff proper but only minutes into the heart of town. The hotel is located fairly close to the Trans-Canada Highway. The views look out over the highway but are really special. We did not find higway traffic noise to be a problem. The hotel has a pricey but very good restaurant. The only small negative was housekeeping serivces were somewhat spotty. I would definitely stay there again.
