“Good location”
The Juniper Hotel is situated just outside of the town center, so very quiet externally. One night one of the other guests was loud in the hallway, but aside from that, our stay was uneventful (which was good). Their hot tub had a wonderful view but could have been hotter - or if it had a temperature selector, it would have been perfect. Great place to relax after a day of hiking. I would stay there again.
“Jewel in Banff”
My husband and I had a lovely stay at this fabulous hotel. While it is not right in downtown Banff, it was literally a 3 minute drive. We liked how it was high up and the views it offered. The gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub and room decor were lovely. The bistro downstairs had delicious food and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it to everyone!
“Nice boutique hideaway.”
This hotel is perched on a hill right off the trans Canada Highway. It is less than a few minutes drive into the main town of Banff. It has been completely renovated and refurbished which makes it more than just your average motel/hotel. Duvets are a great touch, the room and bathroom decor is wonderful. Natural and modern looking. I prefer queen beds which was not available, so that is my ONLY criticism. We were a party of three so a King room was not an option. On site restaurant with amazing valley view is a great place for breakfast, the menu looked tempting for dinner too.
“Comfortable, Affordable, and Great Scenery!”
I went to this hotel with two girlfriends, for a weekend getway and we had a great stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The beds were warm and comfortable; and the bathroom clean. The restaurant was a bit expensive for breakfast, but the portions and the quality of the food was excellent. My favourite part was the use of the bath robes! It was nice not to have to bring my own along! I would recommend this hotel!
“Our favorite...”
My fiance and I stumbled over The Juniper during our summer travels two years ago. Since then, we've stayed there another three times and consider it our favorite hotel to stay in. The view is tremedous and being just outside of the city of Banff adds to the wonder of the mountains and their natural therapy. We both highly recommend the hotel and especially the Eggs Benedict in the Muk-A-Muk restaurant!
“Boutique hotel in the mountains”
A fifties "motel" brought into the 21st century. Lovely appointments using natural materials from the area. A smaller hotel all grown up! A real treat of modern amenities after staying in the old lodges of the National and Provincial parks. Very convenient but away from the hussle and bussle of town.
“Away from the beaten path”
Comfortable hotel that's off the beaten path, which was what we were here for. Rooms were nicely renovated, a very enjoyable stay.
“A very nice hotel would go back”
Hotel is just out of town very easy to find, the staff were extremely helpful and the room was a good size with breathtaking views.
“What a find!”
This was my first stay at the Juniper hotel. We booked a room with 2 double beds for 4 adults, two couples. The view off of our walk out balcony was just spectacular. The room was beautiful, very clean and quite comfortable. Will for sure stay again, very pleased!
“Juniper Hotel Banff”
This was my first time I traveled with my cat and I will be doing it more often. Juniper provided food and water bowels and a pet bed. The room was clean, nicely equipped and quiet. The views from the hot-tub and the room balcony were fantastic. There were chairs outside each room and we enjoyed a nightcap each night as we watched the hustle and bustle of Banff. Juniper is located a couple minutes from downtown Banff and its isolation makes it easy to unwind after a day of hiking or skiing.
