“best holiday”
wonderful hotel, very friendly people, very well kept room
“Nice hotel, quiet location, three blocks from downtown.”
The hotel accomadations were great. Stayed in a regular hotel room the first night. The room was nice. Small but nicely appointed with a flat screen T.V and a queen size bed. We upgraded to a suite for the second and third nights. The room is really nice! King size bed, flat screen in the bedroom and living room. Kitchen had a microwave and a mini fridge. The service was great and the contential breakfast is a nice perk. The outdoor hot tub is a great place to relax after a day of adventure. Certain times in the hot tub were a little packed but overall everything was great!

“a superb hotel in every aspect”
we stayed at this hotel in july 08.the staff were most welcoming and always helpful. breakfasts were good... so much choice. the restaurant chillis was very good value . the hotel is ideally situated....with a secure under ground parking area. we will definitely stay here again
“Beautiful hotel, beautiful location”
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would listen. The location is close enough to downtown Banff, that walking is very easy to do. The rooms are very nice, and clean. The hot pool is a fantastic experience, you are in door, but the roof is open to the outside and the area around the hot pool, looks just like being in a cave. We truly can't wait to go back to Banff, and to this hotel again.
“Excellent Suite Hotel within easy walk of downtown Banff”
our 2 bedroomed suite was spacious,modern and very well equipped.Tea drinkers appreciated an electric kettle! The basement jacuzzi is virtually a small swimming pool with natural light coming in from the courtyard -would be a great place to linger.We had an excellent free continental breakfast during our stay -loads of fruit,cereal.muffins,toast,scones etc etc.Friendly & helpful staff -and all a 5min walk from downtown. The rooms look very small but suites excellent.Its all very new so excellent promotional rates at present.

Hotel was brand new. In town location with tgreat views of the surrounding mountains. Easily walk to the central district with shops and great restaurants. would definitely stay again

The Fox Hotel and Suites is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The staff was very knowledgable about the area and the hotel. Our room was beautiful and kept very clean. We had a beautiful view of a mountain from our window. A nice Continental breakfast (with a waffle-making station) was complimentary! They also had complimentary underground parking and ski-lockers. Lift tickets were avavilable at the frontdesk at a discount and worked at all of the resorts near by. They also had bus service to the ski resorts that we did not utilize. There was a large, underground heated pool at the hotel that was amazing!! It was able to hold lots of people and made to look like a cave. Because of the cave-like decor and the shape of the pool, it never felt crowded. In the ceiling of the pool area there was a large skylight so you can see the stars at night. the Fox Hotel also offered a sauna and an exercise room. There is a Chili's attached to the hotel for dining and drinks. The Fox Hotel and Suites has been by far the best place we have ever stayed. We would (and do) recommend it to everybody! We are already planning a trip back for next year!
“BEST IN BANFF!!”
We go to Banff a couple of times a year for a brief getaway, and have never had a better experience than this for accomodations. Booked a superior 2bdrm suite for our family of 4, and had ample room. Main bedroom was very large, and the beds super comfortable, plush duvets, very cozy for a cold winter night!! Everything is very modern and exceptionally clean, and the staff friendly and accomodating. We loved the hot pool/hot tub! Also found the underground parking sufficient for our sedan. We liked that it was about an 8 minute walk to the heart of downtown Banff, as we have stayed closer to downtown on other trips and have been kept up all night with the noise..no such problems here, though we were not there on a weekend. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
“Nice”
We arrived a little over an hour before the 4:00 check-in time. Though they did not have a regular room ready, we were quickly accommodated in a 1 bedroom suite for much less than half the cost difference on the rooms. The suite was very nice, very well set up - bedroom with 2 double beds downstairs; living room with pull-out, kitchen, dining area on the main floor. This suite obviously not a good set up for those with mobility restrictions but perfect for us. We stayed just one night but would definitely come back for a longer stay. This hotel is several blocks from the main business area, but the hotel offers free bus passes to the public transit which passes just out front of the hotel. This is still a fairly easy walk, though, so we skipped the transit passes. We actually preferred this area as the downtown area can get very busy, noisy and congested. This hotel is just enough off the beaten path. This hotel has both underground and street parking which is convenient. The hot tub is very enjoyable. Bring your bathing suit!
