“Nice Place”
This Hotel Shares ammenities with the voyager (located next door). Over all the Spruce Grove provides comortable accomidations at a budget price (for Banff). The only complaint that our family had was the selection of stale breakfast goods
“Good service, clean and quiet”
The hotel was clean and quiet, perfect for resting after a long day of skiing. Simple but bright and comfortable.
“15 mins walk from town but worth it”
Hotel is near the end of Banff Avenue .It takes 15mins to walk to the centre.Passes many resturants and bars on the way .Hotel has parking .Overal a good choice would recommemd and stay again. The superioe rooms are big and worth the extra.
“really great deal in this hotel”
1) extremely satisfied with the fast, courteous & friendly staff, 2) really clean room, hallways & other facilities. It seems this is a new hotel (though I'm not quite sure about that)
“good location, clean and very friendly staff”
We had a great stay at the Spruce Grove Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was ample underground parking. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was included. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels and B&Bs in Banff. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay there again!
“Excellent place to stay”
Excellent Staffs are really friendly. Wireless internet and Local Area Connections are available, free of charge. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Banff area, even if you want to visit Lake Louise, only 50km from Banff. Hotels in Lake Louise are more expensive than in Banff.
“Good value for family stays”
This hotel is basic, clean and comfortable. The double queen rooms are large enough to spread your ski gear out to dry after a great day on the slopes and still have room to move around easily. There's a coffeemaker, but no fridge or microwave. There is no continental breakfast offered but the sister hotel next door, the Voyageur, has a coffeeshop that opens at 7am(not tried). If you have an oversized vehicle with a roof rack, covered outdoor parking with plugin is available in the Voyageur's lot between the two buildings.
“Great Price, great room”
For the reasonable rate, the rooms were fantastic. They were definetely clean & tidy & obviously well maintained. We only stayed 2 nights & house keeping still came to our room in the middle of our stay for fresh towels & a tidy up. Staff were lovely & had a great stay in Banff.
“New, shiny, big”
We had a "premium" room, which ended up being larger than our studio apartment at home, with 2 queen beds, a switch-on fireplace, a sofa, a microwave, and a small eating table. The hotel has free wireless, though the upload rates to the US were quite slow (we were trying to upload pictures). In addition, our nightly rate was quite reasonable, only about 20% higher than the lowest we saw.
“Great hotel with park nearby”
We enjoyed the hotel, pool, hot tub and free (but very very basic) breakfast. It was also nice that there was a playground less than a block from our room.
