“great breakfast!!”

Stayed over Christmas this year and was impressed with the service on the holiday. The staff at checkin were very friendly and efficient. Swam in the pool, which was slightly cool, and possibly over-chlorinated, but relaxing none-the-less. The free continental breakfast was a highlight as it was delicious and filling, and available on Christmas am. Our only downside is it was not pet-friendly, which we found odd, so had to board our dog over our stay. WE hope this is a policy which changes in the near future. Otherwise very clean, friendly and accessible.

“4 star hotel”

This hotel may be listed as a 3 1/2 star hotel but that is probably only because it doesn't have a restaurant. The conditions, amenities and overall look of this hotel make it 4 stars in my book. The "continental breakfast" should be listed as a breakfast buffet and it is truly amazing with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pastries, waffles, pancakes, bagels and toast available along with 4 types of juices & coffee. I have not stayed in a cleaner hotel in my life and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a train track behind the hotel so if you're a light sleeper, that may cause you some grief but otherwise this was the best stay I've had in Canmore(my 3rd trip). They also have a pool and a gym which are bonuses to an already great hotel. My kids loved it.

“Extremely satisfied”

The waterslide in the pool was a great bonus for the kids. I stayed in the railroad side. The noise didn't bother me.

“great location, great value”

Our stay was pleasant in all ways. We paid the cheapest midweek rate for our Monday through Wednesday stay, were promised a room facing railway tracks (noise!), but because the hotel was under-occupied, we were given an opposite side room which was far more quieter, for no extra charge. That means that we got even better deal than paid for. We chose this hotel having read other reviews about breakfast, as having breakfast included was of importance to us, since we came to ski in Banff area and wanted minimum time spent on eating in the morning. The breakfast offered sifnigicant variety of foods, all within the expected range of quality (pastry was comparable to that of Safeway bakery, for example). Our room was labeled as a room with the queen size bed. The room was smaller than in some other hotels we stayed in the area, the bathroom was also smallish, but it was enough for me and my husband. We would love to come back, especially for the rate we paid.

“Nice, Clean Ramada”

I liked this Ramada Inn with the interesting building style. The hotel had an outstanding buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs,saugage,waffles, pancakes, yougart etc. in a chalet style room.

“Would stay there again.”

We had a single Queen room, I found the room to be a little small, but very clean. It was very Quite no parties, although we did stay there on a Sunday and Monday nights. Liked that they had a safe in the room. The Breakfast room was clean and quite big, the breakfast was very good , great selections of food and drinks. We would stay again.

“Awesome heated bathroom floors!”

Our room was clean and the king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a heated floor too which we loved! The breakfast was really good and the view of the mountains while you are eating is just beautiful. The only downside is that it's not very sound-proof. You can hear conversations in the hallways, which can go on into the wee hours. We would definitely stay there again though. A very nice get-away, and we enjoy Canmore so much more than Banff.

“Great place to stay”

We had a very good time. The breakfasts are great!!! Rooms clean, staff helpful. Pool was great as we went eary afternoon and it was very quiet. Complementery coffee in enterence way. Brochures about things to do and resurant recommendations.

“Relaxing in Canmore.”

On a three day trip this was the first sleepover. Usually cannot sleep in hotel rooms, but had the best sleep of the trip in this hotel. Quiet, clean, and modern, what's not to like!!! And a handy early breakfast to start the day!
