“excellent hotel”
great place to stay
“Impressed”
I was very impressed with this hotel. It was probably one of the cheaper places to stay in Canmore but the room was very nice for the cost. Will probably stay at this hotel again when I go back.
“Can't Wait to Go Back”
I found this hotel on Expedia, and it was a fantastic deal. The hotel is done up in plush cabin-style decor, and the room was amazing. We had two double beds in an actual bedroom with a door (yay!) and one TV, and a separate room with a couch, sink/fridge/microwave/toaster, and another TV -- great for kids. My wife loved the handmade local soap they put in the bathroom. The room was downright opulent. A couple of small gripes -- the bathroom fixture was loose, the bedside & living room lamps needed several tries to make them work -- I was worried that they were shorting out. The staff was good, not quite great, mainly b/c when I called to confirm my reservation, the lady thought I was cancelling it. They have town maps at the desk, and the Safeway is a lot closer than the guy said it was. The guest services book mainly had info for winter. I guess you have to check beforehand about summer stuff. We ordered room service from the hotel bar & grill and the food was expensive but excellent. I avoided the other hotel restaurant, a German-themed place, b/c of the menu prices. Train noise was a problem in some reviews I read, but we heard nothing. Check-out was painless, and upon leaving, the kids got free activity books & we received a very nice hardcover book about the area. That was a great touch.

Very clean and staff where excellent. The restaraunt was a little pricy, OK value for breakfast. The lounge (Pub) is better. 1st class service from the lounge staff. Its all round good value for money but BE WARNED. The rail road runs right behind and trains will thunder through at night. Max six or seven. Being from the UK they where fasinating to us and made the Canada experience so it failed to bother us.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years, every Labor Day weekend. I love the hospitality of the staff and love the accommodations. I recommend this hotel highly.
“Great place to stay!”
Everything at the Quality Resort Chateau Canmore was great! The staff was super friendly, Rooms were nice & tidy, and they have a nice little pub attached if you're craving a cold one. It sits right outside Banff, only 25km or so venture, and is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Banff itself. All-in-all a great place to stay & I would most definitely recommend it to anyone.
“Would love to go back again.”
We stayed in a loft room and enjoyed both the fireplace and jetted tub. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and the hotel itself was very clean. While we did not dine in the actual restaurant attached to the hotel, we did go to the pub and found a full menu in there in a cozy setting. The food was excellent and prices were about average for Canmore (on the high side).
