“Worth the money”

The condos appear in brand new condition, very well kept, clean, modern and very large. Beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed ourselves. 1 large King bed with own bathroom and soaker tub and 2 sinks, 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds and a bathroom, main living area and kitchen combined. Sofa in living room, fireplace, table and chairs etc. Pool and hot tub also great.

“Quiet, relaxing retreat”

The two bedroom condo setup was great for a family getaway--everyone had their own private space, and we saved a lot of money cooking our own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The resort is handily located five minutes from the downtown core of Canmore, but is situated amidst a forested area and is away from the main streets...you feel like you are really in the Rockies. A few concerns did arise, however. The Platinum Suites is comprised of select units within a resort complex, and is managed offsite---there is no check-in desk or concierge for Platinum Suites, and the resort staff would not offer any assisitance (we had a clogged toilet, and they wouldn't even loan us a plunger). Also, the whirlpool was broken for our entire visit, with no attempt made to repair it. The pool was up and running (and was heated) so at least our daughter had somewhere to swim.

“Weekend in Canmore”

Overall, it was a good weekend. The suite was large and clean and the beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately, it was hard to sleep with the leaking toilettes in both bathrooms. The complex is a quite far from the downtown core of Canmore, which is both good and bad, depending on the type of getaway you want.
