“A wonderful basic hotel”

We were a bunch of ice climbers coming in for the festival and found this hotel just to our expectations. It might not be the most in luxuries but if you want a great inexpensive basic hotel this is it.

“great stay”

It is an older hotel and the carpet in the front entrance was not new, but, other than that the rest of the place very clean and very comfortable....i was very happy with the front desk lady and the other workers there were friendly as well ...I have stayed at other hotels in Canmore and have not been as happy with them, so i will be staying at the Mountain View INN again when i go to Canmore again

“good, clean and decent place for a few days.”

Clean and comfortable. Not much in terms of room service. Coffee was only available in the coffee room just adjunct to the lobby. Surround view is superb, and shopping and restaurants are nearby. The airconditioning was noisy, and made weird noises when the compressor was cutting in which it did after every second attempt. Luckily the temperature was cool at night so I was able to leave the window opened and the AC off. All in all, an ok place.

“A nice place to stay”

This is a basic hotel, which is what we wanted; an inexpensive place to sleep. The room was very clean and odor free, the TV had programs we could watch to wind down from a busy day spent outdoors. The bathroom was clean, the shower had good water pressure. The location was not far from several restaurants and a nice walk along the creek that runs thru town. If you need a lot of amenities in a hotel, you need to stay elsewhere - we felt this hotel suited us perfectly.

“Cheap, clean, simple”

Hotel is plain- very simple- no pool, no restaurant.. but really what do you expect for under 100 dollars a night? The bed is super hard but the room is clean. Perfect for a couple who plans to not spend a lot of time at the hotel! P.s- Walls not sound proof at all!

“The Comfy Bare Minimum”

A VERY basic hotel with the minimal amenities. I recieved a discount on a sale and would stay there again for the sale price. I would not however pay the regular rate as the hotel does not include a breakfast, coffee, kettle, etc. The bare minimum only. There are other comparable hotels in Canmore better equipped.

“good for the price”

nothing wrong this hotel for that unbelievable price. There are no frills to the room, like no coffee maker.

“comfortable and clean”

It is a good motel for the money. We did miss the fridge though, to keep a few things cool. However it was clean and smelled so good.

“Stayed here 3 nights, would stay here again in the”

The room and hotel was clean, they do not make up your room every day nor do they change towels, but for the area, the price is very reasonable.
