“Honeymoon in the Clouds”
The Moraine Lake Lodge is truly the best! Top notch. The staff was awesome. The views of the Canadian Rockies and Lake Moraine outside our suite were spectacular.

Beautiful location and wonderful restaurant. If you love mountains and lakes and know how to entertain yourself, this is a perfect destination.

“Not worth the money”
Moraine Lake Lodge is a nice enough place - but it is certainly not worth the money. I'd say it's a 3 star property charging 5 star prices. Do yourself a favor and stay in a less expensive property down in Lake Louise and take the five minute drive to Moraine Lake for a daytrip. There's really not enough to do at the lake to justify more than a few hours time. Also, the sausage I ordered for breakfast was completely inedible. I literally had to spit it our to prevent gagging. It was awful. The rest of the food was just OK, nothing special.
“Look elsewhere, overpriced”
Lake is no longer there in its original form. Area is not as pretty therefore. The hotel is overpriced for what is available.
