“A pleasant surprise”

What a great value for money these lodges are. We were travelling with our son and his partner so the two-bedroom option with a full kitchen was definitely for us. What a surprise when we found that it was a "townhouse" style. Our son had the entire upstairs level with a kingsize bed and bathroom while we had the downstairs section. We felt we had so much privacy so it was absolutely "perfect" for our situation. We loved cooking out on the balcony as we viewed the three sisters mountains. The whole place was just ideal for our 5 day stay. Canmore is a great base for the Rockies and less touristy than Banff.

“Very Impressed!”

Great place for quiet comfort. Recently stayed in two different units, the first being a one bedroom loft, the second a two bedroom suite. Both were fantastic. Well equiped with beatiful view of the mountains.Clean underground parking. Close to other area attractions such as lake Louise, Bannf and Kannaskis Country. Highly recommended.

“Home sweet home in the Rockies”

We had booked a double room at the Lodges and were very impressed. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for 2 couples. The appliances were like new. All the comforst of home. The only concern was not having a view of the mountains. We will absolutely go back.

“Would stay there again”

This was our first stay at the Lodges and we completely enjoyed it. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The lodge is located a short walk away from the town centre, which is good if you want to get there easily while still being away from the noise. Amenities such as full kitchen, and in-room washer and dryer were extremely useful.

“Nice but nicer with air conditioning”

Overall a very comfortable hotel and a very good price for the quality of our stay. We liked everything about our unit except that it did not have air conditioning and their web site states under room amenities - air conditioning. When we asked the young woman at the front desk we felt her response was less than helpful, in fact we found that this staff seemed to be quite disinterested and it was as if we were bothering her with our inquiries throughout our stay. The fellow we had on our last day (dark hair and glasses) was very professional, helpful and we were grateful. We like our unit, beds were comfy, fully stocked kitchen, TV in the livingroom could have been much bigger but it was ok cause who comes to Canmore to watch tv!, The 2nd bathroom was great, the washer and dryer was wonderful so we could dry bathing suits and do some laundry before returning home. The outdoor pool was nice and the hot tub away from the pool by our building was wonderful. We found our room quiet except in the morning when the traffic could be heard due to us having no air conditioning and having to leave the windows wide open as it was warm in Canmore. The unit was short on toliet paper and paper towel so recommend taking your own if going and there were no pool towels in our room as was listed. Our bathing suits faded from the hot pool or pool chemicals? Not sure what chemicals in their pool/hot pools and we rinsed and washed our bathing suits throughout our stay.

We took 2 teenagers with us and the 2 bedroom was perfect. clean and spacious.

“Very convenient place to stay.”

Everything was fine with our room, although there were no swim towels as promised. -we had to ask for them at the desk, a minor inconvenience. The location is very good, close to the HWY and town. Very quiet, too. Our only negative comment is regarding the halls and lobby areas, beyond the main lobby, which was very nice. The halls were COLD, very impersonal, institutional, ugly green color throughout. The lobbies were very unattractive. A better paint job, nicer carpet, and better lobby furniture/paintings would really improve an otherwise nice place to stay.

“Definitely would stay there again!”

We stayed in a really cute, nicely furnished 2 bedroom loft. We had about 6 people, and we stayed there quite comfortably, there was definitely enough sleeping space for all of us. No one had to sleep on the ground. The pool was nice and warm but the hot tub didn't seem quite as hot as it should have been. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for everyone.

“A great find”

We were nervous about our stay at the Lodges, because we were unable to find much information about it via the internet. After checking in, we realized it is a vacation rental and not a "hotel". Our condo was perfect - all the amenities including a full kitchen. The pool/hot tub were welcome after a hard day's hike! We would certainly recommend it to others. If we ever make it back to Canmore, we'll stay at the Lodges!

“Great Space”

We are a family of 6 and it is difficult to find rooms that fit all of us at a reasonable price. Our suite had plenty of room and had a full kitchen to boot. The gas fireplace was a nice touch as was a TV in each of the two bedrooms and living area. The master was in the loft area with its own bathroom. Our only complaint was the slow as molasses elevator and the rooms (key) cards did not always work to let us in the building on the ground floor - the card worked fine for the room itself. The room had a stuffy smell when we first arrived, but once we opened the window, it was fine. This condo unit must have locked up for a while. We will go back to the Lodges.
