“Good location, small room with no mini fridge”

For location it was awesome. Right on the main street by all the restaurants. Noisy at night though due to night clubs around. Small rooms with no mini fridge. Small windows that barely open, so it was quite stuffy. The underground parking is half a block away, so you have to walk out of the building, around a corner and down an alley, so if you have a lot of luggage, this can be quiet a challenge. Besides that this hotel is fine if you are looking for convenient location.

“I would go back”

It was clean, well maintained and surprisingly quiet. It is so conveniently located in the centre of downtown Banff.

“Great location”

Centrally located right in the middle of town with great access to shopping, dining, walking, etc. Room was fine, nothing to get too excited about but a good, comfortable room at a fair price. Friendly staff, the elevator with street view was fun. Conveniently located near public parking (which was free when we were there, but time-limited). Would stay there again.

“OK”

Hotel is centrally located in Banff and convenient to everything you'll want to see. Room is very small and could use updating. Beds were a little hard for my liking.

“Banff experience”

The hotel is perfect for a traveler watching his or her budget. It has very fast internet speed, comparable to Verizon Fios at home. The queen size bed was a combination of two twin beds, so the middle section sank a bit. The only pllow the hotel offered for each person was very thin. We had stayed for two nights and the maid did not change our shower towels. It is all rihgt with us as we are conscientious about saving energy. However, the hotel is centrally located. Parking is only $5.50 a night in a gated garage behind the building. In summary, it is a bargain with a few minor inconveniences.

Area recommendations
The outdoor sceneary is unbeatable. Banff's visitor center in town offered great help in assisting us to select places to visit with our limited time. It should be the first stop any traveler planning to visit Banff should make.

“Good”

Centrally located, so very convenient. No spa or pool, but if you just sleeping in the room is good enough. Reception is on your right and it looks like currency exchange.

“Banff's best location.”

Perfectly situated, right in the heart of downtown. Can't ask for anything better with that price. Service was really good, with very courteous staffs. The only downside is; the rooms beside the main street (Banff Ave.) can be a bit noisy. There are two grocery stores a few mins walk away from the hotel. Very convenient with a McDonald a few steps away and a library close by with 30mins free internet service. Plus tons of stores along the street on both sides. For sure, can't ask for a better situated hotel at that price.

Area recommendations
Anywhere along Banff Ave. is good, walking distance to all stores and info. centre. Easy to get the public transit to either side of town, i.e sulphur mountain (Gondola) or Tunnel mountain (camp site).

“Great location, comfy rooms”

Quick check-in. Perfect location, right on the main street of the town. Lots of choices of restaurants, fast food, shops. The hotel has not many rooms. They are little older and tiny but clean. The only problem was that we could not pull out the pull out sofa in our room. The coffe maker in our friends room did not work either. But that were just the minor problems. Free parking is at the garage behind the hotel but be aware it is max. for 12 hours. Overall enjoyable stay and a very good value in overpriced town of Banff.
