“Would love to go back in the summer”
Hotel was well situated and easy to find, parking was underground which was great as it snowed while we were there. Reception were very helpful answered all our questions and organised a skiing lesson for us.
“Liked it very much”
This was our third trip to Banff ( all through Expedia). We love the area and the drive to Jasper is beautiful. We love going in early June before all the snow melts. We had the pleasure of seeing several black bears and also several Grizzly bears. And other wildlife. It is just as beautiful the third time as the first time.
“Excellent value for the price”
Hotel is conveniently situated on Banff Avenue. Underground parkade is not suitable for large vehicles such as full size pickups, but there is limited parking to the rear. Reception staff very helpful. Room was comfortable and very clean, also at the rear of the hotel so was quiet. Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant (privately owned) was OK but not brilliant. Expensive for what is on offer. Would use hotel again!!
“Would stay again”
Hotel room was large with very comfortable beds and we did not hear any noise. Food in restaurant attached to hotel was good. Free breakfast simple but satisfactory however they should either add one more four-slice toaster or an industrial toaster as we had to wait in line for toast and a more varied selection of muffins always appreciated. Staff very accommodating.

when i had booked a hotel room at Irwins I did not expect to be as nice as it was, the service there was great. and the rooms were neat and tidy. And the location was very nice, it was only 2 blocks from of Banff. Overall experience was very satisfied
“Quaint & Friendly”
We've stayed several times. It's inexpensive, clean, the staff has always been friendly & helpful, walking distance to all shops & restaurants, eco friendly. Will definately go back.
“Enjoyed Irwin's Mountain Inn”
Irwin's Mountain Inn is close to the center of Banff and within walking distance of downtown and a lot of restaurants and shops. The room we had was very nice. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was quiet at night, so it made for a very restful sleep. Banff itself is quite scenic, with a lot to do.
“Great hotel for your money”
The hotel has free underground parking, and parking right out back. Very nice clean hotel, with very friendly staff. Not far from downtown Banff, so you can walk from the hotel, leave your vehicle there, and don't have to worry about finding parking downtown. Would choose this hotel to stay at next time we are in Banff for sure!
“Last Ski Trip of the Year”
Our last ski trip of the year was great. We checked in around 7pm and it was efficient. There are no bells or whistles so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't where you want to stay. The room was clean, there was a door that opened up onto a ledge so you could get fresh air in the room. Had a great sleep. The bed wasn't any less comfortable than the one we slept in at the Fairmont Banff Springs over Christmas, and this was a whole lot cheaper!!!!
