“Very nice affordable accommodations in Banff !”

Great affordable place to stay in Banff, centrally located walking distance to shopping, night life and restaurants...Staff is very friendly and helpful! Pets are welcome... there is a $15 per day charge per pet this was not noted on Expedia listing, however it is on the hotel's website. I found out after the fact when I called to see why there was a charge on my credit card. It would be nice if the hotel had free Wifi for guests...I wasn't able to pick up other free signals... Be sure to check out the restaurant next store Melissa's Misteak $$ excellent breakfast menu..expect line ups on the weekend and holidays.

“Good Budget Choice”

Homestead Inn is a good budget choice in Banff. Nice staff, clean rooms and right in the middle of town. What really stands out though is that you can use the facilities of the higher end Banff Park Lodge across the street. They have an excellent pool, hot tub and steam room. The restaurants looked good though I did not try them. Also there are many other restaurants close by.

“Good hotel - good price - good location”

Great hotel staff. Clean rooms. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin! You can hear everything above you, beside you, around you. Wear ear plugs for a good sleep (seriously). Good clean room, though, with a convenient location and nice staff. Good outdoor access for dogs. Worth it for what we paid. Would stay there again.

“Basic place but great value”

I arrived from Calgary and travelled by greyhound. The Homestead is a short walk from the Rocky Mountaineer station and the bujs terminal. The shuttle buses to Sunshine Village, Lake Louuse, and Mt Norquay stop opposite at the Banff Parl Lodge. Great location for this and the use of the facilities at the BPL is a real bonus. Really nice spa to enjoy after a day on the slopes. Staff at the Homestead very welcoming and helpful. I travel to Banff often and this is probably the friendliest place I have stayed at. Basic rooms but warm comfortable and economical. Has everything a more expensive property would have just not as ritzy.

good for the money, great location, friendly helpful front desk. very few amenities but for a decent place to sleep at a low cost this is it...Was lucky to catch the passing of the Olympic torches so that was a treat...

“Banff on a Budget”

Just spent the weekend in Banff at the Homestead Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and centrally located to all amenities. Free parking. A good value for the price. Would stay there again.
