“2-Bedroom Suite”
We were in a 2-bedroom suite and it was a great place to enjoy some family time (parents and two adult children) without going back & forth to other rooms. The beds were very comfortable, however the sofa-bed was not (at least for an adult). The rooms were very clean. The size of the suite and the rooms themselves were sufficient; we didn't feel cramped at all. It was great to have an ensuite off the king-sized bedroom. Several members of the family used the pool, hot-tub and waterslide and the facility was enjoyed. We used the spa facility and it was great to have this in the hotel. We also ate at the restaurant several times and the cost of meals wwere as reasonable. The food itself was good. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
“5-day festive break”
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days between Christmas and New Year. We mainly picked the hotel due to its proximity to the town and for the swimming pool/slide as we have a very active 4-year old boy. Overall we were very impressed with the hotel and had no complaints. Service was very good and the bar/restaurant were up to scratch. The swimming pool, hot tub and slide are great. Would certainly go back.

This was our first time staying in Canmore and would never stay in Banff again with such a great town with a great room.

We had a lovely weekend in the Grande Rockies Resort with a lovely peaceful mountain view. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Canmore is a great place to retreat.
“Wonderful Weekend Getaway”
It was a wonderful place to stay, we loved every minute of it. The staff were very accomodatiing, they did everything they could to help us out. We will definitely be returning!
“AWESOME STAFF AND SERVICE!!!”
On check-in our room wasnt quite what we had in mind, but after talking to the EXTREMLY Accomidating staff they upgraded us on one of the busiest weekends for them! This is a great resort property with excellently valued rooms! I had great customer service and have already booked my next trip! A big thank you to the manager Maartin and all of the staff! Well done! I come back time and time again!
“Luxurious and comfortable!”
Everything was brand new, loved the bedding and the bathroom. It was very comfortable and had anything you need in an apartment, from the w/d to the perfect kitchen and the steam shower!! Every night we came back to the hotel our suit was clean as day one. Loved the patio and patio furnitures, had great breakfasts in there. The pool was all right, not so big, but very clean. The staff were friendly and polite, and the check-in and check-out didn't take more than 5 minutes. They also had underground parking so it was safe for the car. It was 5 minutes drive from HWY 1, which goes to Banff and just takes 20 minutes to get to the park. The hotel was 5 minutes walk from grocery stores and liquor stores. We had the best time in this hotel and definitely recommend it to anyone wants to go Banff.
“Very nice”
The place was still under construction and so everything was very new. The beds were lovely and quite comfortable. Nice furniture, appliances, etc. Highly recommended!
“Amazing Hotel for a Family”
We were so pleased with the Grande Rockies Resort. The kids absolutely loved the 'water park'! There is a seperate area for little kids with their own waterslide and a big pool with a big waterslide as well as an indoor/outdoor hottub! The room was very clean and decorated very well. The bed was soooo comfortable and it had the coolest showers I've ever seen. A dozen jets, rain showerhead, steam and a stereo! We were in heaven. The only things that weren't 'heaven' were the slightly uncomfortable couch (it was a sofabed, I think) and the wireless that wasn't included in the room rates. Other then that, it was great. We're thinking of going back this winter - indoor waterpark and a fire to come home to...*sigh*.
