“An Inn worth visiting”

Once again we enjoyed staying at the Georgetown Inn, the location, the room + breakfast & the staff well above par, will definitely return. Ate at the Inn on the Friday night, food & drinks really good, walked into Canmore (just over 5 mins) on the Saturday night for dinner

“Would recommend to others”

The restaurant in the hotel could be kept cleaner but food was very good.

“Great People, Great Food, Great Accommodations”

At the moment you arrive, Joni or one of the other capable staff members greets you. Their warm greeting sets the tone of your stay and provides a preface to the good experience in store. When you arrive at your room, you're immediately impressed with the thought and care that was put into providing this very nicely appointed lodging. Once settled in, your thoughts may turn to food and drink. There's no need to ponder the options. You can have a reasonably priced, savory meal right in the hotel's restaurant. Dorian, the bartender, is engaging and entertaining and Fiona will see to your every need. As with the rest of the staff, they treat you like family members, and their gregarious personalities are a nice compliment to the friendly hospitality you'll receive from everyone at the Georgetown Inn. Very nice indeed.

“A real gem!”

Our stay could not have been better. Walking distance from the center of Canmore, the building is charming accommodating all the staff - from the front desk to the restaurant, were friendly, accommodating and really good at their jobs. The room was large and the food was good. We especially liked the atmosphere, with displays of mountain scenes and people, etc. The generic motel down the street may have been a few dollars cheaper, but the Georgetown was a perfect place to stay in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

“Gem in the Rockies”

A real gem in Canmore. We were surprised how nice it was. Great little place - more like B&B then hotel. Will definitely stay again. The included breakfast was a real breakfast - not stale muffins and lukewarm coffee!

“Georgetown Canmore”

Had heating issues where upper rooms were very hot. Needed windows open and/or AC on. Nice restaurant in hotel with great breakfasts included, which was a nice bonus.

“A pleasant stay”

Very pleasant stay. Only concern was that the room wasn't serviced. Washing machine and dryer available free of charge. Pleasant pub atmosphere in evening. Both breakfast and evening meals were good. It had real character.

“Quaint, clean and comfortable”

Overall a good experience with one small mishap. We were not given the code to get in after hours and when we returned from a late supper we found ourselves looked out. Thankfully another guest who had gone out for a smoke spotted us and let us in.

“really cute spot”

Its one of the few hotels in the area with character. A charming bar on site, patio seating, and a wonderful breakfast!! The room was a bit dark, and there wasn't a proper chair for the desk (made it hard to get work done on the computer - but most arent going to be stuck in their rooms tied to their laptop so i wouldn't worry about it) Other than that, perfectly cute room. Nice comfy bed, big fridge for leftovers, they provide glasses and a wine cork w/o asking. They provide lots of helpful info on hikes in the area - and even give you a prize if you manage to hike all 3 of the surrounding mountains. Highly recommend this place!

“Nice, but needs a bit more attention.”

We had a good stay. Quibbles would be that the cleaner hadn't done a great job (I could see where someone had dropped candy under the drawers and it hadn't been vacuumed), and that the front desk didn;t open as it was meant to when the time came to check out. Oh, and the window was broken, so closing it was a bit of a tussle.
