“almost good”

This hotel is beautiful and confortable and staff is friendly and helpful. But stand a discreet stand away from shopping area and there are many hotel around here so you had better check them before decide. I think This hotel is the best for the customers like quiet environment.

“Beautiful, Convenient & Affordable”

I have stayed in a number of other, more expensive hotels in Banff and only chose the Royal Canadian because the other hotels couldn't accommodate my timeframe. I am so glad I did. While it lacks a spectacular lobby, the staff is marvelous, the rooms lovely and comfortable, and both the service and the food at the Evergreen restaurant were great. Plus it's within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

“Very Nice!”

Interior Design and furniture is very nice. Comfortable beds. I was unaware of the additional charge for parking, so that came as a surprise. Location is a few blocks past downtown, but Banff is so small it hardly matters. A little pricey, but a very nice hotel.

“A better price vs the cost of food in the area”

A very nice choice ... a good quality hotel. A quiet location and very nice service and willingness to assist with our needs.

“Would definitely go back to that hotel again”

Front desk and maintenance staff were extremely polite. Enjoyed the turn down at night with bottled water and the windshield of our car cleaned every morning. Umbrellas were handed to us twice due to poor weather conditions. Front lobby smelled wonderful because of all the fresh lillies.

“Nice hotel”

We were very satisfied with everything at the hotel. The split bath (sink & counter separated by a door from bath & toilet)was wonderful since there were 4 of us. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but all dining in Banff seems to be expensive. We bought breakfast foods and stored in the refrigerator.

“No hesitation in having a return visit.”

Stayed for 4 nights and had no complaints at all. Everything was as we expected from a Delta Hotel. Dinner - quality, presentation and service in restaurant was equivalent to a top class restuarant, but was not pretentious.

“Service a big plus-comfortable suite...”

We were very pleased with the Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge in spectacular Banff. What was most impressive was the first rate service we received from all hotel staff from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, and maid service. The hotel is a short walk to downtown Banff and many hiking trails. Can't wait to return.

“delta banff”

Loved the heated garage and that they cleaned the cars every morning and afternoon, driving in the snow wasnt bad when you can come back to that. Totally enjoyed the food, they even hand made the chips for salsa A+. One problem would be the bed was more uncomfortable than sleeping on the floor. Gave us a severe back pain and made us get up in the wee hours of the morning. They definitely need to change the mattresses and upgrade other holstery. There was no couch in a king sized bedroom with a fireplace... Also the room was constantly hot even when we turned the air on and this was in the winter. The TV was not flat screen nor digital and watching sports the screen cut-off the scores. The swimming pool and hot water spa and sauna were amazing. We also enjoyed the exercise room very much. The room service was excellent and always provided assistance when needed. The bed turn down service disturbed us the first day but then we started do not sign outside and that helped. Over all A++ great place to stay if they upgrade or it won't be worth the price you pay for the hotel.
